Should be on their website soon. I believe the 2019 line will be released October 1st. I have already seen some of the 2019 helmets listed in webshops.

What’s the verdict on the safety factor of the moto 9 vs moto 9 carbon? I’m currently running the carbon but I really like the look of that one, might have to snap one up.

What’s the verdict on the safety factor of the moto 9 vs moto 9 carbon? I’m currently running the carbon but I really like the look of that one, might have to snap one up.
I have one of the new moto 9 Tagger helmets (not flex/carbon) and I don't care for it. I've been a Bell guy since the 80's and absolutely loved my moto 8, but the new moto 9 seems really heavy. I tried on a flex, and it didn't feel a lot different. Just my opinion. I'm probably going to switch back to Shoei or try a 6d..

Edit: I have an egg shaped head, so some helmets just don't feel right. Bell has always felt good on head (not so much anymore), where as TLD's helmets just don't fit at all for some reason.

I went from a shoei Vfx-w to the carbon flex, it was definitely an adjustment. I actually debated returning it. Once I got used to it though, I love it now. I guess I’ll have to try on a standard model.

Hmmm, thank you! I've only wore mine one time, so maybe I'll give it a few rides before I make a decision. I've been really torn, as I love the Tagger graphic..

I really like my bell moto 9 flex helmets. Of course a lot of that comes down to head shape. I’ve got both the orange and green McGrath versions so I’m excited to see a new one that doesn’t have the horrible Monster logo plastered on it.

I had the blue one as a kid. My old man still has it in his office. I’ll need to acquire that from him at some point.

That looks sick. I like some of MC's lids, and the bubbles are okay, but that one looks the best to me. I might do a replica like that and just mix the colors. I like that a lot.

I had one back in the mid 90's it looked cool but the liner was always falling out. I eventually smashed my face off the handlebars and broke the chin guard.. it did it's job.

Man the 2019 MC helmet looks stunning. I bought the first orange version but unfortunately crashed it hard twice so i retired it. It sits nicely in the garage these days.

That mx9 model in the picture was on Jeremy Stenberg's instagram saying it will be released in February. Fingers crossed for a February Release on the MC Replica. Reminds me of this one, wish I could have the nofear mx gear too !
