They are usually asleep with no energy. Ever listen to Joe Rogans live commentary?

Vidal will be funny Sunday morning with everyone reinacting his mistakes. ? I liked the drunk Ricky at the Monster energy cup. Pure entertainment.
there is always a thread on R/NFL Sunday night. "shit announcers say"
Vidal will need to "pin" a thread like that.
Carmichael will be gold. Dude literally cannot pronounce MC Elrath, Ciancirillo Ples sinjjeer etc.

RC doesn't half ass anything, he'll be just fine, just give him time. IMO Emig brought nothing to the show. Just rambled non-sense and it was quite dumbed down. Bailey used to bring knowledge and foresight and predicted areas that rider's were preparing to pass by the lines they took, etc.. Nobody has brought that knowledge to the broadcast since Bailey. I think RC may be able to bring a little Bailey likeness, at least I hope so. Calling the racing is important, but I would sure like to see them start to incorporate a "getting to know" the rider or teams a lot more. Video and interview them outside of the races, at home, practicing, training. All in way for the viewer's to get to know the racers better. Because their bland podium speeches counting off their sponsor cue card is boring and shows no personality. NASCAR does a good job of allowing the viewer to get to see and know their drivers and teams.

For everyone who wanted Weege... and hey, I love Weege, too... he was in the running but a few things led to him not getting the gig. Some of it sounded real trivial but hey, it's Feld's call. Personally, I like Ralph. Yes, Weege is more for the hardcore fan but either would be great.

But yes, it is important RC channels his inner David Bailey. C'mon, RC, work hard and do this!

Emig rambled nonsense and was dumbed down? Lay off the twizzlers, twizzler.

We can all make fun of Ricky being short and fat but I guarantee he can smoke 99% of the people on Vital and 75% of current pro riders. Pretty sure his motivation was proving that a short, freckled faced, fat kid could whip anyone's ass. He's a damn moto freak....and I dig it.

Lol..I was thinking MX not SX but I still say he could surprise outdoors.

Doesn't half ass anything? His suits are less than even half assed. You'd think the guy could afford tailored threads but after hearing Pulpshow maybe not.

After all this...

Maybe you should give them a chance?

Some of you are total assholes.

I think he will make us motoheads proud.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHEN RC POINTS OUT TRACK CHANGES AND PERSPECTIVES FROM THE GOAT
GREAT TV
IT IS FANTASTIC WHEN HE POINTS OUT WHY SX IS SO HARD

I would be happy to listen to RC talk about anything moto, Seriously. Anything

Should get Scott Taylor in the booth. Bring in Bubba. Bring in LL's announcers,,,,, That would be some stuff.

I think the unforgettable Zipper Jacket helped RC pull the new NBC gig !

That jacket even had its own Twitter acct at one point.

Ricky was not to bad. Had a few bobbles here and there, but good for the first race.

The notorious RC Zipper Jacket didn’t appear at A1, darn. He should have worn it for such a special occasion.

Ricky spoke well, I liked the way Jeff would get really excited, I miss his “Ralph did you see that!!!?” Haha

Rick can probably end up doing alright, but Emig was getting the job done. Was this Jeffs decision? If not I think they made a huge mistake in my opinion. Rickys been on TV for awhile and hes never showed me a reason hed be better than Jeff, why would he now?

Agree, RC is MUCH improved in the booth. Nothing jumped out at me as being terribly bad. The production as a whole seems to be more professionally done, still hate that social media bit, but I'll get over that. As subtle as it was, I liked the way they double-teamed (Wil and Blair) the podium at the end of the race.

Im ok with Ralph and Ricky but why they had to add so much "extra info" during racing that they missed some good racing on qualifying and race.

A few times I thought RC was going to be an Erin Bates clone, always saying "that's right", but he did well for the first race. Liked Fro, and wondering what the real story is behind the departure.

I mean it's just a bunch of dirt bikes going around in circles; how tuff can it be?
I agree. Ricky isn’t bad in the booth, I’d rather talk amongst mates while the races are on like I did this A1, but I’ll still re watch the entire night time program to see if I can learn from the guy who is nicknamed the GOAT

Danial has his on Pod Cast. I guess you guys didnt hear all the dead air last night? Turn the sound off and try this for yourself. It takes a PRO not a GOAT.

He actually improved as the night went on. I didn’t think he sounded very good during qualifying but wasn’t bad during the race. I will say I miss the excitement Jeff brought, he tended to ramble at times but there was more excitement about the race and you could tell they would feed off one another. I don’t get that same feeling with RC in the booth, commentary seemed flat to down right boring at times but I do think it will get better.

RC did a good job and Daniel Blair was the best of all of them.

Ralf brings the excitement. The other guy should be analytical. Didn't have that last year, and now we will.

I found it kind of funny how they were going on about Wilson doing everything on his own dime full privateer effort as if it was draining his bank account. They left out the part where rockstar bought him 6 bikes and provided engines from husky services. I'm sure with all his gear deals and sponsors he won't be losing a penny this year. If anything will bank 100k. Not bad for 17 weeks of work.

According to the live A1 pulp show and the A1 Whiskey Throttle show it wa clear that Emig wanted to remain onboard.

Rick Johnson made it especially clear on the Whiskey show that Emig would likely not give RC pointers on how to succeed as he (Emig) was just fired and not very happy about it.

I wonder which individual is responsible for bumping Ricky up? Whoever it is must think Ralph slept with his wife and wants to wreck him as a man and announcer. Ricky's gonna suck harder than a toothless ho on crack.

Seriously though, announcers are important to the overall product. Ralph and Jeff may not have been the best ever but they were good. This is a boondoggle.
