So, who do you guys think the TV broadcast analyst will be?

Ralph and Will seem to be a pretty good bet. Ralph has been very active on Supercross social media lately plus Matthes is hearing he and Will Christien are in. I don't think Daniel is the analyst (by his comment on him NOT having to work A1). So it will probably be someone new. Or maybe Denny again.

Other possibilities:

Jim Holley
The 800
Dungey (I hope not and I doubt it, though. Just announced baby on the way. He seems more wanting to do the family thing than be on road)
RC (ummm...no offense to the Goat but I hope not)
GL
Weege (that would be cool but I don;t see it happening)
RV (This would be great! But no indication of it happening.)

I wonder if they might go with a more recently retired rider such as Jake Weimer or Trey. No clue how they are behind the mic, though. Other than those people I'm really not sure who it might be.

I feel like dungey or emig are the highest probability.

GL would be great but I’m not sure he’d be quite as good as he is outdoors without Weege. Dungey would be boring. Denny was good but they aren’t bringing him back. Daniel could be good but based on what he’s said he’s not the guy.

Upon listening to Steve a bit more it appears that someone nailed it earlier in this thread. I somehow missed. Steve said it looks to be Ralph, Will and a rotation of analysts. Probably until they find one they want to stick with.

That may be kinda cool for some variance. However, hopefully Ralph can gain some chemistry with the different analysts. He's a pro so not worrying about him but hope the analysts bring a lot to the table.

I love Fro but I do want a bit more insight from the analysts. The show Saturday will probably be just Ralph then.

I don't know if these shows typically have the commentators from the booth in them. Aren't they normally just narrated by someone plus interviews?
Maybe NBC will do it differently.

Any mini o, Loretta Lynn announcer would talk circles around shaheen.

Best part of racertv is HOWGREAT the announcers are. And they understand the sport. Wildly entertaining. Weege, Wes Cain....and the others on racertv.

Ralph sucks calling a sx race. He does just fine calling a left-turn only race.

Some of y'all don't seem to understand how broadcasting works. Why would they put a play by play person in the color commentator role? Weege was never a past racer. If Ralph is going to be the permanent play by play announcer, than the other spot is going to have to be filled by a past racer.

That's exactly what NBC did for AFT. Ralph and Weege call the tape delay races (I don't even think they are in the same place when they record the commentary)
