Well, this guy is pretty credible, but obviously you can’t believe everything you see on the internet. Seems legit though... it was then retweeted by the PR gal for supercross on Twitter.

Edit; just realized you can’t see his username. It’s Adam Stern, or @A_S12

Same here. No MAV tv. If they end up airing on a channel I don't have , I hope they end up getting an online service going of some type.

Just praying for NBCSN so we can get a package like motocross has.

You mean heats and semi's on MAVTV, 450 main live on NBC, and 250 main tape delayed on NBCSN? Sounds awesome.

No, I’m referring to the NBC sports gold package. The coverage was amazing this last season.

I would think Supercross would be a valuable enough property that they wouldn't have to resort to pay-per-view for decent coverage. I guess we'll see. It seems awfully close to A1 to still be negotiating a TV package, though.

I pray it's not just a streaming service. That will kill ratings. There are still a lot of people like myself thst do not have great internet.

Hopefully it is an option but it has a good TV package as well.

Yeah, Ralph works for NBC, Fox and CBS.

I wonder what this means for those that already purchased the 2019 Supercross Video pass from Supercrosslive.tv.

Not a whole lot of time to get a new TV deal in place.

Wouldn't be shocked if they air Main Events only on a channel like NBC Sports; with Heats, etc only being available with a NBC Gold type of subscription...

I would be

Plus, I’ve seen more than one poster here say they want that so they don’t have to sit through 3 hour broadcasts. On Vital. A place where the supposed “core” fans congregate.

The deal is already done. It just hasn't been announced yet.

It'll be on TV. I don't see it going streaming only. TV ratings have been going up each year for the past couple years

The streaming platform is just a different option made available. Love the commercial free MX races on the NBC Gold App. Hoping NBC/NBC Sports are the one's that picked up SX and that they'll be offering the Gold App for the 2019 season.

Since NBC Sports isn't available in Canada the Gold App or the streaming service offered from Feld would be the only options. I'm just waiting to see what the new TV announcement says that way I can see what my options will be.

nobody can sit through 3 hours of a Supercross broadcast without fast forwarding or falling asleep. going to them Live is different because you can get up and take a piss or grab a beer during the Semi or LCQ or the downtime in between. i record them so i can skip all the bullshit.

i'm as core as it gets, but the full show just isn't that good.

Cue the guys that say "I got SX on Fox Sports for FREE, all I had to do was pay $100 a month for cable"

Doubt they’ll have different announcers as it was Ralph and Jeff from Speed to CBS to Fox. Bummed though, fox sports go app is 10x better than NBC sports app for mobile and casting.

This could be a blessing in disquise. Someone else must have outbid Fox? The ratings have been going upward so the value to air them should have also. Big TV package on network? More trickle down money for Purses? Naahh..

that would blow a hole in the statement they always make about paying to be on TV wouldn't it?

Fox sports losing SX and losing UFC. I don't have ESPN so UFC is gone for me, my only hope is SX goes to NBCSN
