Is it just me or when a rider changes gear brands.....

Edited Date/Time 10/18/2018 4:14pm
They don't look the same on the bike? Jeremy Sewer has moved to the Factory Yamaha so now he has to wear Alpinestars gear now as part of his contract. I find A Stars kit really bland & boring whilst his IXIS gear was on point. When riders change their gear companies, to me it they look different on the bike. Does anyone else see this or is it just me ? I don't know if he can still use Shoei helmets.

Sorry did you just say you found the Astars gear boring and bland? Did you even look at the picture of the IXS gear in the photo you uploaded?

I feel like the only one sometimes who just doesn't give a crap about what gear a rider is wearing.

I usually don't like white and black gear combos but that first pic is pretty legit IMO.

OP, I don't see why he couldn't still wear a Shoei helmet. Febvre uses a different brand helmet. Just depends on how much they offer him.

Maybe if the OP offered to wash Seewer's gear for him he'd gain a little more appreciation for it?

How can you say he doesn't look the same on the bike in Astars gear? He's sat in a deck chair in the only photo of him wearing it?

Why do all the factory teams in europe require their riders to wear a certain gear brand instead of them being able to sign with whatever gear brand they want? Ive always thought that that was a little odd. Factory Kawi, Honda, Yamaha, Husky, and both factory KTM teams make their riders run the same gear.

I like the IXIS gear better. Now he looks like Febvre with that ugly claw on his A-stars jersey.

Agreed. I’m not gonna get easily used to seeing Seewer in something else than IXS gear.

Nope. That dude only washes boots, helmets and protection.

Although, he never did specify what kind of protection....

I see what you did there... I too was wondering if he'd wash my football shin pads.

You might not need your socks to hold them in place anymore after you get them back
