I think he rung his bell. He was a different rider after the crash. You could see it.
He did, happened to be standing there when he went off the side of the up hill triple and it took him awhile to find his bearings. Everyone was screaming GO, GO!

Indeed. He keeps that title until defending it next MXDN.

That’s not saying much. Why are you on Vital taking a victory lap when your nation’s team of MXGP riders got smoked? You can’t even blame a SX heavy schedule. Come back when GB is on the top step of the podium.
Our team would have been 2nd if it wasn't for an engine failure, that's hardly getting smoked. Even with that engine failure, we still beat the USA on an AMA national track. Come back when you beat us, until then pipe down

I'm British. I'm only talking about Great Britain. If you didn't know who our riders we're out there our MXGP guy was the one towing Tomac around the track all weekend

That engine is on your mechanic and/or rider for not knowing how to prepare for and ride in the mud. If beating the US is your goal then you may want to shoot a little higher in the future.

Maybe you're right, we do need to adjust our targets. Beating the US used to mean you won the event. Now it barely gets you in the top 5

Mate, that’s France! World Cup football, too. Best sports nation in the EU.

I seen his wreck and it was a damn tough one. If you look at where he went off to the right it’s a legit drop off that downside. I was surprised he got going again. I couldn’t see the impact after he went off so maybe he got a little lucky with that. Brutal none the less

I really was disappointed with plessinger's performance, i was really looking forward to seeing him whoop some butt. He'll be back better and stronger. Hopefully this gets him fired up for next time.

Are you mental? Your celebrating a 5th place .
You guys have one (1) victory in 50 years, and that was 25 years ago.
Stop riding the coat tails of all the other countries that actually do win.

That was probably the hardest crash i saw all weekend besides the dude from team iceland, it was like a 30 foot drop off the side of that jump to the water road and he got up immediately and took back off. Guy is gnarly!

I saw AP after the race on Sunday and he did have a black eye.... assumed it was from Saturday's crash. It wasn't horrible, but could definitely see some bruising.

It's the British thing to it seems. Can't win themselves but you bet your ass they will talk shit like they did.. and this coming from a Canadian who doesn't give a damn about who wins (unless it's Canada but let's be real..).

To be fair I know all people from GB are not like the select few idiots here on Vital.

Martin rode a great race and was on the gas and aggressive. Gary Gibson also was outstanding, especially for riding that bike for the very first time on Friday mid morning! Richard looked to have a few issues Sunday and bike was smoking and in pit lane a few times, but he kept going back out, no visor and all. Team Ireland rocked this weekend, and even more so when you consider the circumstances behind the rides this year. Great job.

Tomac had the full multi million dollar power of factory Kawasaki and Searle borrowed 2 stock bikes and bolted an engine into one.
Blew it up while in 4th then rode a stock bike with a pipe in Moto 2.

Full privateer effort.

Lets be a bit serious. I would not be surprised to hear that Plessinger got hurt from the crash yesterday because he was so incredibly far off the pace. I just can't see how he would be so far off without an injury.

I am listening to Matthes right now on the Pulpcast, and he said Plessinger told him the crash didn't affect him and he offered no excuses. So in other words, the exact opposite of what you are saying.

Was there and watched it but didn’t see the downside of the landing. Talked to people who did though and they said he didn’t land that bad.

Was pulling for him too. Walked through the pits and it was cool to see his setup. Van with an ez up and a little table.
Was bummed out his motor blew so close to the end. Feel like he would have held Tomac off too.
