they have at least two security guards searching your camper before they let you in the camping area. Their looking for glass or illegal items. NO GLASS. Put your whiskey or alcohol in a non glass container or they will take it from you!
That sounds a little over kill

Banning glass bottles out of the hands of 80,000 drunk diehard motocross fans ain't over kill, more proactive.

There may be a reason they don't do glass bottles at major sporting events.

THIS IS PER RED BUD'S WEBSITE UNDER FAQ at the bottom of the page under "food and drink"-
I’m hearing we aren’t allowed to bring beer. Can you elaborate on that please?
You can bring your own alcohol to campsites and parking lots – just NO GLASS BOTTLES. You can enjoy your own beverages at your campsite or tailgate in the parking lot during intermissions, etc. You can’t bring alcohol into the track area (past the wristband check point).

THIS IS PER RED BUD'S WEBSITE UNDER CAMPING-
IN ORDER TO ENFORCE THE FOLLOWING RULES, ALL CAMPING VEHICLES ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH BY UNIFORMED SECURITY OFFICERS:

I've been to plenty of Nationals at Red Bud and witnessed the security going through campers and cars before they enter lot B. Once they confiscate items with glass it's thrown in a trash can! Lot B is crazy..it's for your safety!

I believe they only search lot B campers and not the other lots. Not sure though. I'd play it safe!

Man I'm PUMPED. We are headed there tomorrow.

Is there any rhyme or reason as to how the camping spots are filling? I assume 100% first come first serve?

Unfortunately we may be the last poor saps to enter in a camper. I'm sure we'll get the last available spot next to the shitters and it will probably be full of everyone's trash when we arrive at 9:00pm tomorrow night. We're ready to party regardless.

Track looks great. Should make for an awesome weekend of racing as long as any rainfall is not too heavy.

They drive on the same side of the road in Europe as you guys. It’s only us Brits (and a few of our former colonies) that drive on the correct side of the road.

This thread makes me even more sad that I can't be there this year. It's going to be awesome.

What's the post of Pastrana all about? Or did it rain quite a lot the last hour or so?
Track looks perfect to me in the pictures above!
