Prado's reasoning during the French GP post race interview with MX Vice is absurd. Him trying to place blame on Herlings for not backing down is pathetic. You race to the line. You don't cross jump whether it's the finish line jump or not. The track exit is on the right just after the jump is another excuse. Insanity, meanwhile he's calling everyone who has something to say about it stupid. Not very good damage control IMO.

10/3/2021 5:34am WHAT?! There is not any racer that will backs down before a ''straight'' jump, while still going for the win. Because that's what he did. He might aswell have given the position to Febvre before because getting points on gajser, or the dangers involved. This is not the first time that Prado cross jumps.

Thats just it. The only guys saying that he should line up for a SX race are the butt hurt ones. Their reasoning is the want all the cards stacked against Herlings so their "boy" can beat him and make them feel better with in themselves. They want an AMA SX champ to race Herlings that doesn't complete in that discipline. It would be a hollow victory and even Tomac would laugh at the suggestion.

The only way to justify that Eli can run with the GP guys is to beat them on their turf. SX is not MX, and would prove virtually nothing to race SX.

When was the last time Tomac raced GNCC or EX or AX, surely to be FMOTP you have to win every single championship which involves a motorcycle, is anyone actually the FMOTP?. K221, Herlings won't come to race supercross, he is trying to break a record in the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MXGP Class. Why risk his career for one championship which has no relevance to him? Not sure if serious or just a dumb troll..... Seeing as I have a bit of time to waste, I shall be kind and feed the troll a little bit. How about this for a far out idea - to be called FMOTP, why doesn't a USA mx & sx champ go race in Europe? *shock gasp* Why do Euro riders have to go to America to be considered the fastest?

I wish our guy's would of done better at the race....but ya know what? They didn't. I'm proud of Eli , Justin and Arron for giving their best , and I'm sure they are more bummed about their performance then ANYONE on this board. Lesson.... You get your ass kicked , learn from it , improve and come back stronger. Making excuses , slamming other team's and being in denial aint going to help anything. And most importantly , poor sportsmanship is exactly the opposite of what we as American's should be doing. I truly hope this lit a fire...

If you’re saying that the conditions have to be perfect (or at least ‘right’) for Tomac to be on top, then you’ve answered your own question really haven’t you. You can’t be the best / fastest and also be a total fusspot as to what surfaces you perform on. Regardless of track type, SX prep etc, if you’re meant to be world class, you should at least be able to push to the front past these other guys, especially the MX2 boys. Tomac choked on the world stage and rode badly, it’s that simple.

Dude, Coldenhoff was his teammate and an excellent sand/mudracer. Was absolutely no need to attack (or protect) him cause together they put 3rd man Paulin on a minute. Coldenhoff rode the race of his life. Besides the MX1 GP in Latvia a few years ago I haven't seen Glenn this good in his whole career. Btw more than 70 seconds behind them Tomac got his ass waxed by Lupino, the #13 of the world championship :-)
