You can get paid for as little as 1,000 views for the most part. By example, Vital has some videos in the 50-300k mark on YouTube, nothing near 1 million but we still receive a bit of compensation.

They just changed up their YouTube Partner Program earlier this year. I was qualified and made just a little bit of money with my videos. Originally all you needed was 10,000 channel views and you were eligible for longer videos and monetization.

Here is their current requirement:

"On January 16, 2018, we announced new eligibility requirements for the YouTube Partner Program. Once a channel reaches 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months and 1,000 subscribers it will be reviewed to join the program."

Also, hopefully people aren't too butt hurt when they don't "find" him.

To begin monetizing on Youtube, you need at least 1,000 subscribers (AC has 26k) and 4,000 watch hours in the last 12 months.
