Beacause the most of 250 riders do not generally do that jump, to avoid the risk of one of 450 fall over one of 250, as in the MXDN race they go together 250 with 450, they are not going to do that jump.

Yes this it´s, because the 250 and 450's have to race together in two motos.

So we’ve had confirmations from legit sources that it’s included yet some of you believe the broken English first post with no source.

Okay...

Besides, his logic is bunk. In both classes at the national, not everyone was jumping the entire thing and they were fine. In fact it was a prime spot for passing or making up time on someone who wasn’t doing it. It’s a big but relatively safe jump. Give these guys some credit.

A safety move for the best in my opinion. It's not a big money race for the riders, and it's still gonna kick ass for you lucky sobs that get to go! Sorry if I forgot to take my "Nut Job Testosterone" pills this morning, and/or offended anyone from my crap generation.

Idiots. Has nothing to do with Euro vs US. It has to do with 250 and 450 being on the track, at the same time. That means at least 15 250 not doing the jump every lap. The risk of a 450 landing on a 250 rider is just to big.

Big difference between 4 250 doing the jump in one race, or 20-24 doing it and 16-20 not doing it in a combined 250+450 race

Didn't someone landed on Anderson last year?

From first to last there is a huuuge difference in MXON. Security is a concern when organizing this event, but cutting out the most memorable part of an iconic track?? dafff??

Just want to see AP23 and Prado attacking the mf and battling over it.

This is why the nationals are superior to the GPs. At least our 250 guys can huck it.
so all 40 riders in 250 class did the jump ? Shocked Shocked impressive shit and dont think so , probably a handfull

problem with MXON is you have combined races , 250 and 450 and you have countries racing with riders who are not that talented .. so for safety reasons its understandable as we dont want people jumping on each other at that specific jump .. people get killed or injured for life if that happens . Forgotten already what happend to El Hombre ???

at best they should make option to ride it safe and for others to jump it , if there is rooom enough for it

yet you have to make it a USA vs MXGP thing

great job dude ..very classy once again

Yes and the thing is you will also have lots in the 450 class not doing the jump - due to the wider than usual range in rider abilities. So even if it's just the one big bike only race the problem would still likely be there.

0% chance they remove the leap. I'll stamp that statement. Some riders huck it, some don't. These are pro's and this isn't a fair race. I feel like I'm reading a State Farm commercial. Bunch of French models in here.

I can see the case for removing it. Not only will most 250 guys struggle with it, there will be some 450 guys not doing it either. There will also be a huge disparity in speed on the track. You can't put that big of a mix on the track at the same time without it being dangerous.

I agree - they should remove it.

Then, replace it with 250 feet of Washougal-gnarly whoops. 4 footers at least, right out of a corner. Those Euro-pussies can't do them either. Smile

Why is it a big deal if they take it out?

The racing will be awesome and the atmosphere will be epic.

If jumping is all you care about.try nitro circus until the sxon comes.

Its a big deal because its the main attraction of red bud. Seperates the men from the boys. Theyre not removing it anyways.
