Sorry the subject line misspelled triple. It is very big no doubt about it but the double/table top is void. Build a jump and you will learn. 1 mound equals 1 2 mounds equal 2 aka “a double” #keepcommoncoremathoutofmoto
If you jump a 70 foot table top do you tell your friends you jumped a 70 foot single?

Then you must have never hit the old three pack of tables at Blue Diamond.

No... No I haven't, but I did crush an entire can Blue Diamond smoked almonds last night with my 6-pack of tall boys.

Gnarly, without a doubt.

But, if I ran the track, I wouldn't be too stoked about people cutting it all over the place and taking 5th gear runs to connect things that weren't meant to be jumped.

Josh Hill is one thing, Larry Loopout that tries to copy him and ends up in the ICU is another.

That's the only problem with this. If there's a jump ON the track that he does and someone attempts and wads up, that's one thing. It's a totally different thing when some novice cuts the track and tries it and breaks his neck, then files a lawsuit because he was too bro to pay for insurance. That's where you have a problem.

It's cool I guess? I don't really see the point of cutting the track getting the bike into 5th gear and hucking something that wasn't designed...
It's cool I guess? I don't really see the point of cutting the track getting the bike into 5th gear and hucking something that wasn't designed to work that way? I feel like it's not technically challenging...just a big risk. I've seen josh do much cooler stuff on a supercross track.
I guess you didn't enjoy watching K-Dub jump those huge transfers back in the day as well?

You must be fun at parties.

Yup I tell my friends “oh yeah that’s a coolish table I cleared it.” In no time in my life will I ever tell my friends or son that I or he doubled a table top. I will raise him in a manner not to be a dumbass when it come to counting jumps. Tables will always be singles and guys who count them differently will always be point and laughed at.

I suppose you didn't think KW's transfers were cool either... There's some really cool quad videos on YouTube, one guy even goes through a big mud puddle doing like 30. It's pretty bad ass.

Well fuck, I guess no one can ever try anything at the track that is beyond the capability of a novice rider just in case the novice rider gives it a shot.

I've spent many days at pala and met some pretty stupid people, but never have I seen a novice attempt a 140 ft quad after seeing one of the local pros do it.

As for cutting the track... if you go to pala on a weekday afternoon it's practically dead.
