Congrats!

I left my jetting stock and mine seems to be good. The one tooth sprocket thing is actually an improvement not just MXA BS.
You were the one who said to run 60:1 right? What premix you run? I always ran 927 in my other smokers just cause i liked the smell but i want to see what other people have been running im these things.

Love to hear a comparison between a 350f and the TC250. Thinking of making the move to a TC250.

Yes 60:1. I run amsoil dominator in mine and have had good luck with it in my bike and shifter kart.

Yeah i just replaced my 16 yz 250 with an 18 and luckily i took a bunch of wins. Unfortunately for me yamaha isnt paying shit so i probably should have bought a husky since they're paying everything.

Yes. 60:1 Belray and mine is working great with pump 93. I know that MXA and some other publications said that when they followed the manual it ran good. I think the carbs got a bad wrap because everyone is so used to running 32 or 40:1. 60:1 just doesnt seem like enough oil but it seems to run great in my bike.

I was actually hunting the husky lol no one in alabama had a 250sx and oneshop that was almost 5 hours away had the husky but found the 250sx 2.5 hours away so i just picked the ktm up. And while i was searching around here in alabama a dealer that sells TM was a hour away from my house.

I know it sounds crazy but it works (near 1000 feet above sea level). I tried 40:1 and my bike ran like shit. Tried 50:1 ran like shit. Drained that put it in my truck and put in some 60:1 and magically its back to normal. At this point I am sticking to 60:1 until I get a lectron.

oh yeah another tip, on the air filter cage, check the point in the middle of the filter. there can sometimes be a sharp edge that can start to cut the filter over time.

Congratulation and nice bike.

Did it come with the handguards or did you put them on? Those need to go.

Side note: What's the bike next to the KTM? Old YZ? What's the plan for that?

As much as I like the look, I must say I would have to have a white KTM front fender. They are all a little funky now imo. It was whatever when Yamaha did it, now it's out of control haha.

In all seriousness, does anyone know if there is an actual reason for the backhoe fenders?

To help plow through the women that will be throwing themselves at him now. His wife approves of the front fender style.

I actually considered putting a white ktm fender on it. I said it looks like one of my kids sand toy shovels.

Ok, so i put a hour and a half on the new bike and iam very pleased. Comparing to the 350. First off, Even though i had the 4cs forks resprung, revalved and adjusters installed on the bottom , they just dont compare to the stock aer48. I was expecting this snappy, hard to hang on to, excessive shifting bike. Not so much. I really only used 2nd a few times. Its so easy to carry speed into a corner with this bike that you just carry the momentum and 3rd is very usable. The dry weight compared to the 350 isnt a whole lot but it feels like a mountain bike compaired to the 350. I tried both maps and liked map one more. Iam 6ft 210lbs and i had no issues getting over jumps out of corners.

I havnt had this much since i was a kid and we would ride our bmx bikes until the sun went down and you couldnt see anymore. For anyone thinking about this choice and has rode and understand how to ride 2 strokes i say do it!!
