Just curious, is Marijuana a band substance? I get the answer should obvious, but It's not that cut & dry!
From what I can gather from seeing a lot of concerts and such and watching some documentaries on rock bands, Marijuana does seem to be a band substance. In the athletic world covered by WADA, it is also a banned substance.

https://www.usada.org/substances/marijuana-faq/

It can also be considered a performance enhancing drug in some sports. https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-debate-over-running-while-high-1423500…

Lol...you're assuming I read down far enough to read your post before I replied to his. It was meant to be funny and I didn't name anyone but you're right, I didn't make it hard to guess. My bad.

I've seen it and used to play it to death but...my God...it's been years since the records have been outta the box. I even bought a high dollar digital turntable so I could convert the disks to digital...it's still in the box un-opened. I suck.

Rereading this statement, I wanna say that I'm not wanna imply anybody or anyone (that is something I wanna make very, very clear in this sport were riders getting injured every minute Dizzy Blink ). I was just thinking about the story that once got written about the long injury that Serena Williams got. In that story someone anonymous was saying that the WTA got Serena Williams caught and sanctioned. But because they didn't wanted to harm the tennis world by ruining such a icon they were all playing along with the injury story. That story seemed bogus afterwards by the way.

But something similar went on with Lance Armstrong who got caught in 1999, two years after the Festina Tour de France. And the UCI told him and his team: Lance your urine has this in it, you could've got this into your system due to this products: "list got given". Did you forgot to give your TUE to us? And Lance went free. Because an other crisis in cycling wasn't what people were waiting for.

That is why I wouldn't be surprised, in any sport, if a top dog get caught in a in house team test, that they give him a slap on his ass but keep him on board. In most sports the stakes are high and the pressure from sponsors, fans and media is their also.

What if it is a under preforming young kid or even former Champ has this problem? I think we all know the answer to that question Blink

I heard there was one at Daytona, over a month ago...I know one rider that split with his team over a test issue, and then I heard someone still got popped by WADA at Daytona...so I don't know what's going on at this point.

Both weren't in house team tests, like it should've/could've been with this racer. Wada doesn't slip anything under the rug and UCI doesn't do it anymore either. That story about Serena Williams by the way is bogus like mentioned the story about Armstrong is sadly true.

To GuyB’s point.... if the riders in question from Daytona still haven’t been notified positive or negative that is absolute insanity.....

I don’t know. Until there’s an announcement, it’s a rumor.

Froome’s adverse test finding was leaked anonymously to the press. Most who have followed cycling closely for many years believe if not for that leak there would never have been a word spoken, investigation, or possible sanction for the man who miraculously transformed from subpar domestique into the greatest GT champion ever.

greatest GT champion ever? I think you're forgetting Armstrong, even with the asterisk. Indurain was no slouch either. And although the tour/vuelta/giro trifecta is damn impressive as a GT champion, I would put Adam Hansen up as the greatest GT rider.

Because it’s just silly to guess and somebody who didn’t cheat might be named, but no riders read this forum or if they did read it and they saw their name they could just pop in and say “hey this is Frodaddy, it wasn’t me!”

Simple really!

I’d put an * next to any Gand Tour winner after oxygen vector doping went mainstream in the pro peloton. But, yea, I can’t think of any other GT contender to match Froome’s wins (Le Tour x4, Vuelta, Giro) since his 2011 transformation. Hansen had a fine career in the GT’s.

Testosterone comes from yams.

A bunch of mms fighters failed and found out the legal supplement they use was made by a company that mixes the stuff in the same bucket the banned stuff was mixed in without cleaning it good.

In cycling TUEs are used to mask the stuff they really want to take.
Haha yeah right
