Sucks Bowers ended up with a broken leg but if you are going to play that game you can't blame Barcia for cleaning him out.

Barcia seems invisible when it comes to take outs.

I will withhold judgement until we see video, because I was really impressed with Barcia of late and was believing that he really turned a corner mentally and emotionally.

But if he took out Bowers hard enough to break his leg for 9th place on the last turn simply because he was throwing a Bam-Bam tantrum, then he should be treated accordingly.

Yamaha would be idiots for signing him for big money, he put in a few good rides early on and now he is back where he belongs around top 10. If I was Yamaha I'd throw the money at AP or even Savatgy or AC, Barcia rides good enough at times to be a number two at a factory but is barely a threat to win a race, let alone a title. He's had his chance.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Bowers either go backwards on the track, or wait a lap to clean someone out in an AX race at some point in time? Fireworks between these two was bound to happen at some point

I would think as long as Barcia has been in the game, that when he came up short he knew any racer behind him could have landed on him.

In my past experience, if I shorted a jump, I'm praying not to be landed on, no matter who it is.

In all seriousness though.....kind of bums me out Tyler got hurt. He was really coming to terms with that factory Kawi. Been a fan of Barcia's this year to , but dang......it's a bummer he broke Tyler's leg. From what ML posted above , it didn't sound like a take out move really , Tyler's leg was just in a bad spot.

One other thing here : when Tyler took Alex Ray out , thinking it was Barcia......what brought that on? Something happen a round or two earlier?

It is bizarre he goes from absolutely flying back too tenth. Yes i know he was injured but Eli, Marv, roczen, Anderson all pretty much get back on pace straight away after injury. Pre injury Barcia was amazing .. I think he still could be awesome come outdoors

Bummed there is no video of the incident. Is it too much to ask to have a camera mounted on the inside of every corner? With all the mics, pyro, timing loops, etc buried in the track, seems that it would be somewhat simple to have a wide angle camera in ALL the corners so that we don't miss stuff like this in the broadcast. Would be good, too, for the AMA monkeys to have the footage should they need to review anything.

The track was one lined and he got a bad start. I also think he had zero reason to ride aggressive the last few rounds. It'll be interesting to see how he does in mx.
