Would be easier for them if it would start raining hard. That is the stickiest looking dirt I've seen in a while.

I have often wished I had the speed and talent to be a factory rider.
Tonight is not one of those times...

Feel sorry for the mechanics, especially if your rider has to go to the LCQ

Spray the fenders with pam, plastic wrap your legs and chest and spray them as well, problem solved.

What are u going to do, one race in that area a year. Show must go on.

Kinda interesting, and no one should dislocate their abdomen from their pelvis tonight.

If I had a ticket, line ‘em up.

They seriously need to do a sand race up that way one year.
Get some sand from the banks of the mighty Columbia & the Pacific Ocean beaches.
That grey sand packs up hard. Mix it with clay...it would make for an interesting track.

What I don't understand is why they didnt knock down the majority of the obstacles knowing that it was going to be like this. If most of the jumps and rhythms were flattened at least they eould be able to throttle up and kind of race each other.

I would have expected them to have a store of dry sand / anything to bring into the bad areas. instead of this mud fest

totally agree. The higher ups failed by not turning this into a "hybrid" track. Also, shouldn't have worked it so much and let the water stay on so it would be sloppy instead of this sticky 2 ft deep rut stuff. Growing up in the northwest i did my fair share of mud riding and its way more fun riding and you can actually still go pretty fast when its a sloppy mess versus sticky goo.

I see people are about 50/50 divided on this some say awesome something that sucks I'm in the portion that think it sucks and I'm actually really curious to hear what is so exciting to watch on that track for me it's kind of embarrassing for the sport of Supercross to look that bad on a dirt bike in the mud like that floundering around like it's a half time show but I'm open to hearing the other side of the argument and maybe change my mind

This may be one solution to modern over-powered bikes and dangerous tracks...make every race a mudder! Woohoo More entertaining for the fans and the racing was probably better than it would have been if the track was dry. Oh and nobody was seriously injured for a change.

That was one of the most fun races I've watched in a long time!

You could hear the crowd all night and they were totally into it, that would have been an awesome race to be at! I've sat through my fair share of mud races at San Fran and Oakland, and they were some of the best I've ever been to in my life. All week leading up to this and seeing a bunch of guys post about how they weren't going to go because of the weather, I couldn't help but think how big of a mistake those idiots were making, you don't get to have fun experiences being a pussy your whole life that's for damn sure. It's been forever since there's been a race like this, and it makes for some of the most exciting stuff we've seen in a while, so I'd say it was a good night!
