So what's the verdict? Do I buy it?

What about the 30 clicks you need to scroll through and 5 minute load time between games..
I could almost have a nap between each game

Really surprising to hear all of these issues. I have a Day one edition Xbox One, and it runs smooth and flawlessly, even my buddies are having no issues.

In terms of gameplay I really do believe this is the best MX game outside of Sim. But Milestone has a lot of work to do over the next couple weeks fixing all of these bugs. I've bought a lot of broken video games over the years and this one just might be the most broken game I've ever bought. Some of these bugs are so obvious that I would argue Milestone deliberately put out a broken game which is just not right. The game is so much fun but the bugs are unacceptable.

Yeah, if this game were truly authentic we would get to watch Makeup to Mud and check Twitter to see some other players in riding gear with bikes in their living room, and then maybe Jeremy could tell us all about how the throttle makes the wheel go round.

Yes.

It gets a 7.5/10 from me.

Is the PC version working well? I planned on getting it , but going to wait a few weeks for the usual big patches and so forth. Seems to have some bugs , and I ain't in no hurry.

The tuff blocks are evil. Sometimes I'll have a decent start and turn three or so will be littered with the things and you hit one and miss a straight and you are playing catch up for laps. At least it is fun though, so far there have been people my speed to battle with even after a few of my dumbass crashes.

It took me half the day to realize that these are 2017 tracks. It's interesting how different they ride from the MX vs ATV DLC tracks.

on the left is the tv i started playing sx on. it was very glitchy and somethig just didn’t fee right. then i remembered playing mxgp3 on the tv on the right all the time and one day i played it on the tv on the left and i couldn’t figure out what the hell was wrong. it just didn’t feel right.

i just switched sx to the smaller tv on the right and it’s a completely different game. all a sudden i was ripping the tracks. same way i felt with mxgp3. it’s something about the bigger tvs. maybe someone else can explain it for me

if you’re playing on a huge tv and you have a smaller one....switch it and tell me i’m crazy

Must say, Glendale on a big 4K TV looks amazing. For some reason that track/stadium looked so crisp on my TV.

You are not wrong. Although it may look great on a 50+ inch 4k tv it is actually making you play worse.
You would not catch any pro gamer playing on anything larger than a 27-35ish inch hd monitor or tv. Large Tvs are only for TV and Movies...

It took my little brother to show me that I was instantly way better playing grand theft auto, call of duty, forza and mx vs atv on his smaller gaming monitor. Shits flawless, never laggy at all, your thumb control and accuracy is a lot better, your peripherals are better etcetc. The gamers call it "awareness" .. lol..... My friends noticed it was almost night and day and themselves have converted to having a seperate 30 something inch gaming monitor.

Also sitting a max of 3 to 5 feet away from monitor with a gaming headset

I wish the tracks showed more ruts and deteriorated more. Especially in the rain. I ran Daytona in a 20 minute main in the rain and it was just slick.

Also, I ran the main with Chad reed in the rain and his bike didn't seize up on the last lap. Totally unrealistic.

It's terrible. Whos responsible for making the rider look like he does and think "yup that resembles a pro rider's posture, stance and style"

Having to run the sponsors during the championship is the absolute worst. Other than a buggy online and some other small bugs this games is the absolute best.

Well, hopefully they will release a patch to fix the bugs you guys are having. I'm in Alaska so no one around where I live has it. So I'm waiting on it to be delivered, damn it.

Anyone getting random times where your guy just stops giving it any gas at all? Then like two seconds later it just up and goes and the sound is back? Only oddity I've encountered so far playing on the Switch.

Found some interesting info on the RacerX website :

Starting from today, users can purchase also the Monster Energy Supercross Season Pass for $14.99 to get additional exclusive content. The Season Pass, which is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, includes five DLCs in total, three of them available at launch:

A DLC with 60 liveries—10 for each manufacturer —and 10 rider tracksuits to customize bikes and riders
An exclusive set of 15 additional icons and 15 butt patches to further expand your customization options
The Credit Multiplier DLC
Shortly after, users will get access also to two additional DLCs:

Monster Energy Cup, set to offer all fans the exact replica of the 2017 Monster Energy Cup track at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas for both offline and online modes
Compound, a training space with two new tracks for players to train on supercross and motocross circuits.

--------------------------------------------------------------

The Compound sounds awesome!
Fun game so far...just a bit glitchy

I like it. I have 6 hours on the PC with the game. There are a few bugs but nothing major thus far, i'm sure they'll fix them.

I raced once online in a 12 man lobby and it worked fine, no one was glitching out and the gameplay was fine.

The AI on 250s are way too slow(even on the highest difficulty) but the AI on the 450s is way better, it's actually not that easy to beat them.

I haven't looked at the track editor yet.

Well I managed to get the season pass sorted out so that's good. I only played single races thus far and for some reason I experience lag/screen glitches almost every race. I'm not playing online so I should not be experiencing those kinds of issues since internet connection has nothing to do with it.

I'm enjoying the game but they need to start working on a patch to fix the countless problems.

Well, this will come as no surprise to everyone but I absolutely LOVE it. Shocker, huh? Only a few hours in and yes, there are a few glitches that I'm sure will be fixed but the gameplay and championship mode is exactly what I wanted.

The game speed seems spot on, you have to brake and use throttle control and the tracks are wonderfully done. The championship mode on realistic and the real thing will get my playing time with, of course, the settings dialed in as realistic as possible.

Now I I know everyone knew I would say this but honestly I really didn't love MXGP 3. I preferred 2. 3 was too fast. Supercross seems just right and if you ride the track realistically it feels really spot on, in my opinion.

I'm so excited to have this game!! Hell yeah!! To be able to run the full days and evening formats with everything officially replicated is really is huge for me. The AI isn't always the smartest but they are plenty competitive to me thus far as I'm just learning the game. But I'm not one of you blazing fast guys, either.

Anyway, early impressions. Absolutely love it and it is far and away the best Supercross game ever made. It, early on, has exceeded my expectations which were super high anyway. There's always the honeymoon period but so far I'm loving it!!

After I get some quality time with the game I'll post my full impressions, pros, cons and things they need to improve upon. But in their very first attempt at Supercross I think Milestone knocked it out of the park!

Off to bed. Long studio day again. I'll get plenty of Supercross playing toward end of week! Enjoy, boys!! Flatout is off the chain pumped for this game!
