Worth looking into your diet IMO... Since i've removed carbs from anything but veggies i've found all my joints are considerably better... anything inflammatory isn't good.

And I've dislocated a hip, got two pretty ordinary ankles, somewhat shoddy shoulders and one shit wrist. Years of cracking knuckles before bagpipes also.

+1, I’ve tried to remove all infamitory foods and overall I feel much better. Supliments like Tumeric, fish oil and glucosamine help a lot.

But over all the food is our #1 problem.

I'm only 30 and have early arthritis in my right ankle. I'm currently a fan of Turmeric, fish oil, CBD oil, and a glucosamine supplement called cosamin ds. Honestly the biggest thing that has helped though is making sure I do exercises and stretches focused on helping out mt problem areas,

Nuts and bell pepper actually cause inflammation I've heard in recent studies.

My corker has rheumatoid arthritis and said activated charcoal is one of the only things that helps. If you live in a state where it's legal I would recommend CBD, also.

Just a side not, but as of now CBD oil is 50 state legal. I'm not sure if that'll change though. At worst it's in a grey area, because it's made from hemp and not marijuana.

I supplement collagen tripeptide.

I juice everyday. I grow my own vegetables and try to buy local fruits.

Try not to eat just cooked meals everyday. Eat or juice raw.

Avoid meats. Blocks you up and makes you rancid. Not much good comes from regular meat eating.

I eat fish once or twice a week at most.
Only time I eat meat (beef chicken pork) is if I'm eating out with friends or at a dinner party etc..

Stretch! Yoga is amazing.
Exercise.
Drink lots of water.

I think I will rather deal with the Arthritis than give up on all that good food.

Some of you guys that are having success with supplements and Turmeric, curcumin...how old are you and how long have you had the arthritis? I have been using turmeric and curcumin for a while now, but at 50 and a long time back sufferer, it really doesnt do squat.

Glucosomine helps a little. Exercise and stretching helps the most.

I've done some financial work with this company. They would be a replacement for Voltaren and stronger medications which contain Opioids. They are currently working through clinical trials and the results are very encouraging - team full of real Doctors who know their stuff. Be on the watch for Cannabis based products to provide a natural and efficient treatment in the future.

Someone at vitalmx posted about Turmeric being a vet mxer's best friend. So I went and bought some capsules at the drug stores vitamin dept. It seems to work at least as well as Ibuprofen for me without upsetting my stomach. So I have been sticking with it.
Norco made me feel better for a while but that is a bad plan from my experience. Blink

You can always get empty capsules at your pharmacy.

My wife and I use some essential oils and we make our own "morphine bomb" for pain in these empty capsules. You can look it up on the internet or I can get the info on those ingredients if needed. Also, wintergreen oil and/or Lifesaver wintergreen mints (4 or 5) seem to make a difference, weird.

As others have mentioned your diet makes a difference. My wife and I have also been doing pretty hardcore Keto diet and have noticed less achiness and pain after the initial 2 week or so "keto flu" period.

If you haven't tried a CBD oil, I highly recommend trying it. Charlottes Web is the most trusted brand. Like anything else, there is companies jumping on the band wagon of the CBD market. 50 state legal, can order over the Internet. It's a miracle drug for Nerve issues... But it can help with many different ailments, including arthritis.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with eating lean meats (in moderation) on a regular basis. Processed foods are the devil, especially processed sugar (by the way, Glucosamine is an amino sugar).

And the whole "organic" craze is a lot of BS. I do a lot of work in the AG industry where there is a big push for more "organic" produce. While most people just want food without Monsanto-made pesticides sprayed all over it (a legit concern), it's morphed into an industry filled with crap fertilizers derived from plant origins which drives up cost exponentially. There's no need for an "organic" version of iron, calcium, magnesium, sulfate nutrients. The inorganic version of those nutrients is perfectly fine - but iron is inorganic and can't be considered "organic" so it has to come from a plant based origin for 3X the price which is stupid. Once the plant uptakes the nutrient, it's all considered iron. Thus the cost of everything going up, for the wrong reasons. It's the harmful pesticides people don't want on their produce, not the vitamins and nutrients. But the Gubment has turned the industry into a shit show. Now, every nutrient added is just driving up food prices. Ok, end of rant.....

Broken elbow in the 60s.
Broken foot, blown out right knee, broken wrist in the 70s.
Crushed l4 in the 80s, microdisctomy on it in 2010.
Doctor says x ray evidence of fractured neck in the 90s.

2- 325 mg aspirin, the cheap ones, from The Dollar Store.
I noticed they don't have a lot of additional stuff in them, some caffeine I think.
Maybe 2, 3 times a month, with some milk, usually if it was a lot of labor at work the day before.

Not sure about arthritis but for my joint pain(mostly from weight lifting) I like a product called Cissus and Animal Flex made by Universal Nutrition. Decreases joint pain alot and seems to "tighten up" joints that would pop on certain movements like shoulder press.

Eat things that are anti inflammatory such as turmeric, bone broth, vegetables, curcumin, olive oil raw, coconut oil etc, and cut out food that is inflammatory such as excessive meat, gluten(wheat, beer, alcohol in general etc) sugars, Canola oil, sunflower oil, vegetable oil, corn and GMO food's if you can afford it.

If you cut out the foods above not only will your joints feel better, you will feel far more energetic, clear minded and probably look years younger.

One supplement I recommend that works wonders for me and my aging dog is MSM Powder(Methyl Sulfonyl Methane).

I do eat wheat products sometimes due to the festive seasons however once you've removed all the immflamtorys and eat them again you will notice how negatively your body responds to them, for me it's sluggishness and my mental clarity gets really poor.... Once I learnt this I realized there are a lot of people who feel like shit all time they think its normal to feel that way.

Giving up all wheat gluten products, most dairy, eggs and many other inflammatory foods has done wonders for me. I used to wake up the next day after riding and barely be able to use my hands until they got "warmed up" in a sense. Same with my feet. so sore. Almost hurt to walk on.
Since I've changed my diet all Carpel Tunnel and aches as well as allergies are gone. Im in Michigan and allergy season can be bad here. Not any more for me. I don't even take allergy pills anymore.
If you haven't already done it, give it a try. Took me 3 months before I noticed the difference.

Appeciatte all the knowledgeable posts here.

Looking forward to trying some of the suggestions.

Anybody doing the ddp yoga?

Bought the program after seeing it on shark tank and doing some research on it.

I have been really struggling with plantar fasciitis and ankle issues the last couple of months and haven't been able to start using it even though it may help with other problem areas.

What about aloe Vera juice? Anybody tried it?
