I always love riders who can ride seemingly effortless around the track, CP is one of them. I remember a MXGP in Matterly Basin where he litterally was riding on the grass on some spots in order to find a perfect smooth line. Same goes for Unadilla (2009?) and most of his outdoor races. He was one of the guys I really went to races for back when he was racing GP's. Any more good stories about him? I've read a story about testing at Glen Helen with the PC team and he wasn't feeling it but Mitch demanded him to ride one solid lap, so he did only one and he had the fastest all day right there.

CP is a legend. He may have been quite hold or cold but when he was hot he was something else. I have a feeling people will look back at CP years from now to study how he rides and wonder why he was so underappreciated in his time.

CP has always been one of the most naturaly talented guys to swing a leg over a dirtbike. Good luck to him in his future.

Really enjoyed watching him ride. So smooth and decievingly fast. I always appreciated his talent. Have a great retirement.

CPs seems to be an introvert and i think that is has hurt him and how he looks in front of media/industry people and some fans(especially the media and industry people).

Nice guy and amazing on a bike. And his story is such an inspirational story.

I love that young fast guys and riders in the twilight of their career come up to visit us in Canada.
He was the star of the race at Riverglade for me, never dreamed I’d see Mr. Smooth up her on a sexy white Husky.

He didn’t win, ain’t no cakewalk. (except for Millsaps, it was a cakewalk).

I'm happy he walks away on his own terms. But I'm sad too. Because if he didn't crack his neck twice those last years he could've and probably would've been that type of guy, that KDub was! Always there to be on the podium, if everything was OK for him. If everything was clicking. But he's walking away with two 250 AMA MX vice-championships, Two East-Coast 250 SX Championships and one MX2 world championship. He didn't too bad Tongue Cool

I hope he becomes happy and creates some cool future chapters in his life.

Should have been a two time national champ, glad he''s walking out the door safe. Seemed like he wasn't into it anymore and that's not a way to race.

One hell of a career, it was a pleaser being able to watch him ride. Nothing but good wishes for him and his family. Also cool to see him do it on his own terms,
It shows a lot about the guy. CP377 will definitely be missed over the years, thanks for the good memories and good luck on his future!!
