48 or 148 for the last ten years.

Except for at nationals. The 367 in my avatar was my 2002 Ponca number. 2006 Branson I had to run 14.

I've had 17, 170, 177 and 21. I was a little partial to 17, but it's pretty popular. Then the AMA showed up dictating 3 digits, hence the others. 21 was already on the bike when I got it and I figured I'd run it until they fell off. They never did.

216, 308 were D-36 numbers. Forgot what letter since it designated your area you live.

Also 787.

I messed up when numbering my 500 the night before a race. My ama # is 846 but put the sticky 4 on first and didn't have any others so went 486 whenever I three digi'd it from then on.

I know it makes me a hypocrite, but I run 490 because Jesus told people to forgive others 70 times 7 times.

Back in the eighties, I once numbered my bike after several margaritas (Cinco de Mayo party). Half way to a race the next morning, I looked 1n my pickup mirror and my numbers were out of order.

I recall having trouble walking to sign-up that morning, too.Whistling
