dude i was thinking the same thing and then i read what you wrote. i mean were watching motocross racing, the sickest sport there is. idk what it is with people now a days but everyones just a pussy. its literally sickening. "dirty and dangerous" yes youre right "gayboy who started the thread" when you race dirtbikes, you get dirty cause youre in the dirt and its dangerous by nature. lol whoever has a problem with what happend either hasnt been watching motocross for very long, or needs to go watch golf

wow dude i cannot fathom your opinion reasoning. hes been on fire this year riding better then he ever has. to be a great racer you have to be aggressive and seal the deal. he has a job to do. to win. do you not understand that? he isnt out there to make friends. rubbing is racing? maybe youre a millenial and havnt heard that term before. go on youtube and watch some races from the 80s and 90s. he has a heart of a lion and is killing it and youre not liking him anymore this year. what a pussy. let me remind you that he was in front of martin, he can do whatever he wants

"What's with all the ruts they need groom it so riders can change lines and race eachother"

Osborne pops out of rut to block Martin.

"WTF is Osborne doing he needs to stay in his rut"

Gotta love Vital...

Marvin popped out of a rut in SX (handing the win to Dunge) Zach in outdoors. It appears they need to do more rut training in the Bakers Factory (sarcasm alert)

So if you have a bike length on someone cross jumping should be ok by that logic right?
I'm curious where you saw a cross jump. Osborne went outside well before the jump. They both went off the jump from the far right. Cross jumping would have been leaving the jump from the left side of the track with the intention to land on the right. Perhaps you're still mad because he manhandled Savatgy? What Osborne did wasn't even a block pass. He was already in front of Martin. There was no contact. Should he have just let Martin pass him to satisfy your sense of racing etiquette? If you thought that was dirty, I can't imagine what you thought when he booted Joey!!

I'm exactly the opposite. I've always dug Zach.....but I'm digging him even more now. The guy is an animal and a pure racer. The move on Savagina was brilliant and won him a championship. The move on Alex yesterday ,...the championship could come down to that one point. Pure race craft is what I saw. Besides the fact , he had Alex covered in speed anyways.

It wasn't. Had nothing to do with cross jumping. Not sure why he even said that.

Honestly, cross jumping is a matter of opinion too. The guy in front doesn't have to try and figure out where the guy behind is going to go. It is the responsibility of the guy behind to understand what the dude in front of him is doing. You cannot change direction in the air, so "cross-jumping" is nothing more than the leader's line going from one side of the track to the other. Which, again, is leader's prerogative. The leader's line was determined by the direction he took from the jump face. If the guy behind can't see that happening before he himself gets to the jump, he should not be racing pro.
If the two riders are next to each other and someone crosses over in the air, that's another thing. Dangerous and stupid.

I've played tennis since I was 5, longer than I've been riding and it's an excellent sport...not sure what your point is? Tons of mxers play it to have a fun way to stay in shape, go tell MC he's a pussy for playing tennis dipshit.

Neither dangerous or dirty imo, looked like Amart had enough time to see that happening and maybe change line himself and go up the inside and possibly overtake Osbourne?

Buncha bad asses here! "Can I interest you in golf" "you're a giant pussy" "get a cat" "sandy vagina" etc. I was just giving an opinion of what I observed and it seems that quite a few others agree with me. I have spent much time on a bike and racing unlike a majority of people on this site. Lots of hypocrisy on this board.

Saw it happen and didn't look sketchy at all, Zach was out to win and did what he had to do. AMart had plenty of time to react.

Got a few pics of Zach's goggle-less look coming around the finish line area. And yes, those ruts were insane, basically knee-deep.

Maybe squirrelly move would be a better description???
If I ain't got goggles on...? (If I'm looking at the likelihood of having to duck your roost if you get by me?)

If I'm fighting for an over-all position and a bigger pay check?

IF I'm SERIOUS ABOUT KEEPING MY RED PLATE?!

I'll go full Vince Friese on your ass.

If Martin was coming through that turn as fast as some of you think there s no way zach would do something that would cause both of them to crash and the possibility of 10 to 15 riders passing them in the final laps

Nothing to see here.
I like your profile pic. I got 4 holeshots that same weekend and was named the holeshot king for the 2015 vet weekend. I got to keep that holeshot sign as a prize! That's what a 150lbs racer on a CRF 490 Athena bigbore kit will get ya!

What's funny is that he basically said it himself in the post race presser. He screwed his visor up trying to toss his goggles and knew that if he let Alex by he'd be screwed from the roost so he just cut across the track to block him. Like I said, good thing Alex had room to check up. Laughing

Lol, when most riders are aggressive people love it, yet for some reason Marv is expected to say "please" and "thank you" on the track Laughing

I don't have an issue with the block after the pass. The problem I have is how in the hell does a visor break that easy?

Furthermore... Two points on safety.

1. Most of the goggles we use are simply not heavily constructed enough to take the roost of a modern mx bike.

2. I am still pushing for a mandatory safety pit stop for goggle replacement. Do we really have to have one of our riders lose an eye or become permanently blind before this rule goes into effect? What if Ozzy caught another rock in the same fashion After ditching his goggles? The fact that you can't start a moto without goggles, but are allowed to finish without them, is not only dangerous, but fucking ridiculous. DC? AMA? Anybody actually give a shit about the health of of riders?

Geez lol calm down dude. When riders loose their goggles they usually ride out of the way of roost or duck their head. What's next wrap them in bubble wrap? Huh
