Weege, GL (x2) and the whole presentation of Pro Motocross is near perfection!

Weege, Grant and Georgia are just so perfect. As is the presentation of the whole Lucas Oil Pro Motocross package. The track preview, camera angles, on board with Garmin, the Gold pass, the running order location and intervals, brilliant and spot on commentary and just the whole package is just stellar.

It's nothing new really but I really thought it was worth a thread. Gold replay worked perfect...better than the streaming did for me last year....and love the fact the commentary continues thru the commercial breaks. Huge props to the whole team for an awesome presentation! Supercross with their Twitter pics and other fluff should really take a note or two from Weege and the crew.

I honestly prefer Emig and Ralph, but I've always disliked Langston ever since he cleaned out Bobby Bonds(I've never seen someone rail a 125 that fast in person in my life and that includes Bubba and RC) at Hangtown back in the day. And Weege eh just annoys me for some reason, but Georgia is cool.

I like Ralph and Fro alot too. I'm talking more the presentation than the broadcasters. I will say Weege is my 2nd favorite announcer of all time behind Art Eckman. But Ralph is great too and a super cool guy!

There's a lot of SX, presentation wise, that I don't care for like the Twitter stuff, great cause but the war fighter made I grew tired of and a few other things. Ralph, Fro, Jenny and Juliana are great but the overall presentation is a notch behind Pro Motocross, in my opinion.

I think for an educated race fan, there is no comparison. Weege, Grant, and Georgia are an order of magnitude better than the Fox presentation. I have taken to watching SX with the sound off, not an exaggeration, it's just that bad.

Yesterday was a nice reminder that a dirt bike race can be called in an informative and interesting way.

I wasn't always a fan of Langston on the bike but he's great on the mike.

I think this is the Dream Team: totally agree with OP.

Definitely more enjoyable for the experienced viewer, more insight, actual intelligent conversation, less yelling and screaming.

I mean I guess the Ralph/Jeff combo is good for newer viewers but I dont know why. If I was a new viewer Id be a little annoyed that they feel the need to dumb it down that much. Its not hard to figure out how a motorcycle race works.

Daniel Blair/Jeff Emig combo for Supercross would be YUUGGGEEEEE!!!

IMO the outdoors series has the fit form and function for the longtime MX fan , and the broadcast team nails it 100%. The supercross team hits the mark but the sideshow of twitter , Kim minis and this year war fighter made detracts from the overall package , drop all that and add a 125 dream race format to the program and WINNING !

I have a suggestion, make the practice broadcast a little more in depth. Don't pander to the new comers in a broadcast which in sure only hardcore fans are watching.

I didn't either. I think they hadn't quite thought that one through when they came up with it. Didn't sound like weege knew the definition when he agreed to it.

One time I was on a road trip and someone said something about donkey punch and I didn't exactly know what it meant. I then looked it up on urban dictionary and just couldn't stop laughing. I totally cracked. I hadn't had much sleep and was on a gummy bear diet.

The only thing I don't like about the SX broadcast is when Ricky is announcing, he is so bad and can hardly speak.

Weege, GL and Georgia do a great job

just turn up the bikes and get the cameras closer.

I agree completely. Overall, an excellent production, stream, and coverage. The Gold Pass was a great addition to what was already solid, and it worked great. Thanks MX Sports, Davey Coombs, and NBC Sports!

The GP broadcast really frustrates me with their camera angles and stupid studio guests.

Yesterday was top notch

SX shrinking the view size constantly and their huge rider position banner annoys me.
I didn't buy a 60" TV to watch half of it.
5/21/2017 3:38pm
1 thing that makes Supercross more preferable to watch is that they present the whole race with no commercials. The same cannot be said for motocross when NBC keeps interrupting the race.
5/21/2017 3:48pm
I could listen to Georgia say the word "moto" all day long.

Yeah Georgia is a babe. She's experienced with the riders and a lot of the industry. On her own, let alone the things shes picked up from Jimmy. Grant I am impartial to (he rode pro and respect that) and I like Weege from the GNCC races. I like stats and people who know what they are talking about. As long as its not a total shit show I dont mind.

Id prefer some RAW segments where theres a minute or so of radio silence and we just hear the bikes.

NBC Gold worked perfect aswell.

I prefer the Outdoors team over the SX team. The SX guys just dumb it down way too much, its almost insulting to anyone who actually follows SX. Outdoor guys do a great job

Complete show was great; really liked the camera work were the riders comethrough and out of the half-pipe dealio and get a decent view of roost; mic up a few of the bikes.
