Hey if you can't pass a 16th place guy you don't deserve the championship. I'll never understand the logic. I think blue flags are horse shit.

If you are in 2nd place with the points lead lappers should be the easiest to pass.

That said, we did miss a good potential battle because of it. It was funny how Reed was capitalizing on the blue flag after Dungey went by.

Just think about this.... If Dungey would have punted his ass after a lap of that shit, what would the AMA/FIM have done? If the sanctioning bodies don't do something to Reed at this point, they shouldn't be surprised if shit gets REAL going forward when riders take shit into their own hands.

Reed held his line, consistent with the rule.

I don't see what he did wrong.
The problem was he held the main, fastest line, lap after lap, while continuously being waved the blue flag. Hold your line, just don't hold the fastest one.

I don't know what they showed on tv, but in person I watched the whole thing. Reed waved to Eli to let him by immediately, then threw up the old Fro Daddy mobile roadblock on Dungey.

Worse yet, that stupid move didn't just torque off countless Dungey fans and KTM staff, but the folks at Feld are there to put on a show. A show isn't a lapper completely F'n up the race for the win in the premier class.

Lastly.. I don't know how many times the RC quote has been posted in this thread, but that's all I could think about during the "race". Oh and yes, I have been, and will always be a Reed fan, but tonight he pulled some straight up bullshit.

Yep, you def don't race. Look at any SX races and the lapped riders check up, move out of the way, slow down to not interfere with the front runners. This is what Reed did for Tomac, then started his asshat game with Dungey. I see it as a Monster athlete helping out another.

I fell asleep with about 9 minutes to go in the main, thinking to myself "Man its still effin boring watching one guy run away each race" then find out from my grandma (she's heavily into SX, hand to God) that "Fuckin Reed held Dungey up" so if my grandma can see it, how obvious was it?

I'm disappointed that Reed took this opportunity to impact the championship chase while he was in 16th. We were about to get our first head to head race in a long time.

I felt like he moved over on Dungey in the whoops in the heat and obviously Ryan thought so too. So then Ryan said something about it to Jenny. Big whoop, it's right after a moto. Work it out.

Don't go all Ron Hornaday "if you can't win, wreck somebody who can" on him.

I think Dungey should slip Barcia and Friese some cash and a picture of Reed for next week.Woohoo Silly Whistling

I felt like I was one of the few people that never really liked Reed before this. Because to me he does similar things like this all the time. Seems like a sore loser. It just confirms my feelings towards him. If I was Dungey I would of punted him. But Dungey was smart not to.

Anyone saying Reed "held his line" is either a complete fanboy dipshit or they weren't able to actually watch the race. I was there in person, section 127 about half the way up in the middle of the section. I had a primo view of the corner after the finish line, then the rhythm section, then the 180 before the dragon backs, the dragon back section, then the right hander out of the dragon backs. Every lap Reed rode in that section he started on the inside of the left hander (left side of the track) out of the finish line and then went to the outside (right hand side of the track i.e. cross jumped), rode that section on the right, side of the track then took the inside line on the 180 right hander (right side of track), cross jumped out to the left (which was the faster line) through the dragon backs, then jumped back into the inside of the right hander (right hand side). So he went left side, right side, right side, left side, right side in that section. So he wasn't anywhere close to "holding his line". He was being a complete jackoff. And I have always been a Reed fan up until tonight. No more, he's a fucking douche.

That said, not sure Dungey would have passed Eli straight up, but he was at least making it interesting. If anything Reed should apologize to the fans for robbing us of an exciting race with his asshat immaturity. Reed's a fucking clown. Please retire fucktard.
