Oh, by the way, it seems it's only english speaking households with money that are affected by this. They are more than 4x as likely to have it...
Us Americans sure do love our drugs as long as the Dr says we "need" them to make us "normal" lol...
My apologies about all of the "s

1. Character matters and can be used to judge how someone might react in a situation. It's not iron clad by any means but certainly can be used.
2. Yes the medicine follows a bell curve. I agree. But taking it to get you back to normal puts you maybe half way up the curve. Take some extra before a race and you can be right at the top of the curve. Thus gaining an advantage. You don't take a little extra and all of a sudden you are on the down side of the bell curve.
Good discussion and appreciate keeping it civil.
This is what I was trying to explain. There is a totally different James out there now , compared to the James of mid 2014 and earlier.
I will say this though.....it's such a common drug that athlete's like to use , and in this sport , if helps guys concentrate...I wish they would just make it legal for everyone ( as in take it off the list ). I look at it as a safety measure really. And with James.....whatever he was doing before the ban , I wish he could use that and ride like the way he was. He was safer on the track not only for himself , but other's. It's also a reason why I don't put 100% of the blame on James , as I think he needs it. I think it should be a level playing field and make it available and legal for all the riders if it helps them finish a race safely.
What about medical knowledge from someone without an education in medicine? This thread could use some.
I can get a doctor to give the required paperwork to go through the system. I know plenty that have, and have TUEs currently for quite a few different compounds.
I also know how to be able to get you or anyone else can show you're an eligible candidate. Its very easy to do because athletes in 100 different sports all do it.
Surely including yours as well. Well, it's cycling.
IMHO, TUEs are bullshit and the only ones that say they aren't probably have them under false pretenses because many openly do! They brag about it and post open protocols of what they are using which is far far over a "Therapeutic dose"
You still sound like you're looking for a source with a post like that.
Well, i was able to ride crisp and clean all day without getting warn down, No mistakes my lines felt perfect and the legs didn't give out,, virtually rode till they shut down the lifts.. i was like wow.. where have you been all my life..
It's just a few that drag this place into what Matt was talking about.

The timeline in the ruling is pretty interesting.
Was cancer as prevalent before the 1950's? Have our diet and lifestyle changes, coupled with the massive profits of the pharmaceutical industry created a self generating monster of drugs, research, more allergies then more drugs to combat the symptoms??
I'm no medical expert but it does seem that modern day living has created as many problems as it solves?
James said, in an interview I read years ago, that when he took Adderall the track came at him in slow motion. That's how he was able to "see" lines and jump possibilities that nobody else seemed to. If he didn't take it...the track rushed at him faster than he could handle it because of the ADHD. That, in my opinion, is why he crashed so frequently after he got busted and came back. He was so used to the dosage he was used to taking, that even cutting it back to the prescribed physician dosage barely effected him at all. I doubt seriously that his washing the front end in that corner where Dungey ended up hitting his head with his front tire would ever have happened had he been taking his "usual" dosage.
So Dungey running into him and fucking him up wouldn't have happened if he was on Adderall? What? Maybe he crashed so frequently because he was banned for a year and a half and most likely didn't ride much at all. I might be totally pulling that out of my ass. But that's pretty much what you're doing with everything you said
James had "rookie crashes" like him washing the front end in that first corner at A1 many more times after coming back from his ridiculous ban than he ever did before. Yeah, maybe I'm pulling it out of my ass...but anyone with a modicum of intelligence can tie that to his being limited on his dosage of Adderall.
