Nice! I haven't ever raced motorcycles, but have put crimson ghosts on all of my number plates and my street bike helmet....

I run whatever position I finish in the so cal otmx club the previous year because I am nobody. No toys made after me, no one trying to figure out who I am, just, nobody. Plus it's fun and I like changing it every year. When I look back at old pics I can remember what year it was (sort of) So basicly I'm a lost soul with no permamant #. This year I'm # 59. Which in the oldtimers club pretty much means 58 guys spent more than me on racing last year.... My lowest # ever was 31. I did run my anniversary 523, the 2 years I didn't race due to hip replacements.

Racing the C class I bought a used RM125 with the number 65 on it, so added a 1 and ran 165 for about 6 years. Started to race snocross and 165 was taken so switched it to 651 and been running that since.

254. My assigned pro number from 1988. The number shows up everywhere. Wife goes to grocery store, $254. My sister got tags for her car, 254, I wake up in the middle of the night to take a piss, you guessed it, 2:54 am.

I won my first local championship in '99, so 991. I almost chose 199, but I figured that amateur kid might make a splash when he turned pro. You know, Terrence Pastrami or something like that...

When I was a kid Kenny Zahrt was serious cool. Sure he wasn't Robert or Decoster, or Smith or Lackey....

But he had style for days.

182 since about 2012. Started racing in 2010. First number was 288 cuz my best friends were brothers numbered 286 and I wanted to be similar lmao but then I shortly did it backwards to just simply 82. But wanted to make it to Lorettas SO BAD (which I didn't) to feel like I "earned" a two digit number so I just stuck a 1 in front of it and it's stuck with me. Always loved the numbers 2 and 8 no matter what order.

My dad used to drag me to the stock car races on sat nights as a kid. My favorite driver was #10

I got a xr 75 when I was 10 years old and stuck the 10s on it. Now my kid runs the number.

857 - My dad's number was 75 when he used to race, so I wanted to run 57. I like the number 8 as well, as a single digit number, so I added it on and went with 857. Just got new decals and number plates for my bike, and kept the number. Don't plan on changing it anytime soon.

126 because my father always ran 26 but when I started racing I had to be different and be number 6 then wound up with 10 and finally settled on 126 because it feels right

971 because I was a fan of Larry Ward when he was a rookie.
Then switched to 825 one year because that's what the lady at Lake Whitney gave me.
Terrible luck that year there, so the weekend after that I went to my local dealer to buy new numbers (yes kids, long ago we used to have to buy our own numbers to put on. We didn't have pre-printed numbers and backgrounds way back when) and all Ron had in stock was 2's, 5's and 6's. So I ran 526 for a long damn time after that.
The end.

Hey jeffro,

#503 was my assigned rookie year AMA Pro # in 1983. I earned #50 that year for 1984. Just had to knock off the 3, haha.

375x, was issued to me when I started racing with District 36.

375s my OTHG number. Except this year, I earned a single digit (2s) which I decided to run.

154, I was given this number at the first club I joined in 1978.
Ran 34 for a few years but went back to 154.
Even have it on my car rego number.
