They think we're all a bunch of suicidal and self destructive freaks who eat, sleep and breathe motocross, and we cannot even talk about anything else. They think we spend our whole weekends riding (the days when we're not in casts anyway), spend all our evenings working on the bikes, and we spend all the money on our toys. They're smarter than they look.

Some of them think it's cool. You should avoid those.

The same as they see any other guy. They look at you in terms of how much disposable income you have and what sort of social gains they can achieve by dating you. Most couldn't give two shits about what it is you do. And when I say they "couldn't", I mean they literally can't. It's not in their genetic makeup.

They don't like it. At first...maybe. But when you have to tell them on Saturday night that you have to go to bed early to wake up on Sunday for a race.....they don't like it. Words like obsessive compulsive will be thrown around.

My wife likes it ,she's not into racing but loves to trail ride . I'm hoping my son likes to at least trail ride as well. I can't think of a better way to spend quality time with the whole family.

I dated girls who didn't know anything about it. I've watched girls climb the pro ladder until they got the champ and then marry.

I don't think to many girls care about some kid racing amateurs for fun.
