Just read on Vitals main page that it's possible James races Oakland on a privately funded Suzuki. If this is true I am going to be the happiest guy in the world. Oakland is my home sx stop so it doesn't get better then that. I felt this was worthy of a thread.

Wish it were true, but the cost to do such a thing makes it improbable. Not impossible, but just about. 6 digits easy.

If you're a JS7 fan it might be better not to see him race at this point. If he's not in shape and clear headed it's a recipe for disaster.

If James does indeed show up for Oakland....I'll be shocked , but also super fucking happy as well. I had heard the rumor that he was going to retire , but was crossing my fingers that he would at least try the whole thing just one more time. he's no title threat or anything , but he still has the capability to make a nights racing pretty damned entertaining.

Plenty of guys make this sport interesting to watch , and James is one of them. Would be really cool to see him out there.

This will be the first Supercross race for a while that James and I will be doing the same thing......

Sitting on the couch with a drink and watching the races on TV.

I love James and it's weird because when he is on pulp he is by far one of the best interviews on there but yet in times of like what is happening right now when everyone wants to know what is going on he says jack shit.

Yes I'm guessing from what he has said in the years past when he know he will tell us but Jesus Christ I'm still waiting to hear what the truth is about last season exactly from him.

I honestly don't believe he is done and I think what is scaring teams from hiring him even is no one knows what the hell he is doing right now. . Are you kind of riding? Are you not riding at all, Just spending time with the family? Are you training like an animal and riding al of the time? Your either in or out if you a top guy like James. I feel if teams knew he was hammering away at training and riding the offers would be there. But no one knows what the hell he is doing so how can you out a good offer out to agy you have no clue which James you will get even as a fill in.
