Holding out for the Bisceglia ride?
Why would he be holding out for a ride that he's ineligible for?

Edited: Damn you and your fast typing skills, Michael!

Seriously , WTF Malcolm? Hopefully he gets everything lined up and ready to go for round 2? Is there maybe something else besides the trucks and bikes that aren't ready? Possible injury? Sounds like to me someone has dropped the damn ball. Either on his end , or someone else.

This is what happens when your self worth is less than you expected and then waiting until the very last moment to get your shit together. It's A1 for Pete's sake! Get there no matter what and let the cards fall where they may. Just not showing up?.....not good! It doesn't matter the excuse unless you're injured.

shitty to say but im sure if he doesnt show up for a1 alot of teams are going to be happy they didnt sign him. since doesnt seem motivated to race. he has been saying he had nothing and was waiting on a call since his last off season race, so hes had plenty of time to get on a shitzuki and get it right.

when i read the tweet i couldnt help but think about bubbas world when he was just playing video games, instead of riding.

disappointing for sure. was hoping to see him out at the race.

You'd think POINTS would mean something. You gotta be at the first round to be a factor.

Prime example of why no one gave him a ride in the first place.

It seems the Stewart's are more interested in cashing paychecks than racing dirtbikes. Won't bother me if they go away.

Yup, next week we will be hearing that since he missed A1 anyway, "Why rush things?"Laughing
He's not racing for points, so take some extra time to get everything dialed perfectly before showing up at a race.
He can tear a page from Millsap's book.

I love how so many people seem to know so much about Malcolm and James. If you don't like them why click the topic?

Didn't your mother ever tell you if you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything at all?

If you have as much talent as he does, are the defending SX champion, and don't have a ride, you should look very hard in the mirror.

Motorcycle racers are employed to sell bikes/parts/gear to us. When people aren't talking about them you know they have no value. I would venture to say most people who posted on this thread like Malcolm, and would be much happier to read a thread about his setup for A1, even if it's a 74 Ford Courier.

Why are you expecting him to ride for free? Hardly any pro rider would do that.
It's probably his best option though.
If he rides well, someone will throw some money / support his way.
I don't think Malcolm has made any enemies.

I struggle to understand how he can't be ready. He had no problem racing SX in the off season overseas. Too busy posting pictures of himself on IG? Grab your practice bike and get yourself to A1. Privateers can do it, why can't he?

That is probably the case here, and I really enjoy watching him haul ass on a bike......but I'm going to save my give a shit for someone that looks like they want to race and are willing to do whatever it takes to get there.

If I had his talent.......and knew that my time at the top tier of motocross racing was very limited in the scheme of things......I would not be pissing prime years down my leg waiting for the perfect storm. You could become irrelevant. You gotta take what you believe is yours.....no ones going to offer it to you for nothing. If that means a pick up and ez up and a huge chip on your shoulder, then that's the path to take.

I believe he has the talent to win A1 on a bike he had built for himself......If he wins A1 on his own dime, I'm pretty sure before the lights go out that night, he will have all the help he could want. I'm guessing lack of money is not his problem, so why not invest in yourself.

Start out on your own dime..........beat dudes that are cashing big checks for placing behind you........then you can wait for the rest to fall in line.

That's some mighty high praise. When was the last time somebody won on a privateer bike in the 450 class?

It seems like most of us on Vital don't know what Malcolm is doing. Maybe something changed in the past week or two with his bike/program he is putting together. He has been riding that Honda a lot this offseason and Matthes saying the Suzuki/truck isn't ready. Hopefully the reason he isn't ready for A1 is because he got some last minute help that wasn't expected. It might be wishful thinking. I know I have a lot of Maybe's and Hopefully's in there. Lol!! Either way we have a great line up for A1.

I don't get why people still make excuses for this kind of nonsense. A SX champion from LAST YEAR doesn't have a ride. Are people really dumb enough to believe there's not a reason for that? Has there ever been a time when a champion from the previous year didn't have a ride?

Last minute help? What could he possibly need? You don't think he has the money to get there? And if he doesn't, you don't think big brother would help him get there (you know he has the money.) This is all nonsense. Anything outside of an injury or serious personal issue, he should be there if he wants to get a ride and be successful in the 450 class.
