There's been some legitimate rumors about him racing selected rounds/ races this year. I'm not sure what the final decision was/is, but I'd sure like to see the guy race again in person. Is it a waste of time ? Will Kawasaki or Monster be willing to pay him to come race some ? Does he even want to bother, after his recent race with Chad and Webb ? Would it sell more tickets at the stadiums ?

At least it's not another Stewart or Wilson thread....... Woohoo

You obviously know more than I do, but that would really surprise me. Im not really sure why he would do it.

i can see it happening. Mcgrath did it back in 05 and 06.

RV quit because he was burnt out from the grind, not that he didnt enjoy racing

I can see it eating at him a bit that he didn't win the MXGP title, even though it sounds weird but the guy hated losing and I think that's a big reason he did so much winning.

Would like to know where these rumors come from? Someone who would know?

Didn't he kinda get shown up in Oz? I'm not putting the guy down, because even though I wasn't a real fan...I have to give Villopoto credit for being one of the biggest badasses of all time. I just hope that, if the rumors are true, he won't come in and get embarassed or hurt. But, RV hated to get beat like RC hated it...so I doubt very seriously if he would put himself in the position to have that happen.
