Say what you want, but that price isn't all that out of line, considering the market on CR500's these days. Rekluse is worth $550 USD, pulse injection is a few bucks, and the lined cylinder isn't free either. Pretty hard to find cheap 500's anymore, people know they are drying up, and asking large. Guy in the Detroit area has a pristine 97, for $4500.

I was going to say the same thing. Most mid '90s or newer 500's (CR or KX) that pop up around me are going for $3000-3500. With that said, it's getting rarer to see them pop up for sale.
