This thread delivers on vital ignorance. Nothing that Roczen said or did during the show should cause a forum melt down. Sports is a game of confidence. Roczen wanted to make a big statement at MEC. If he doesn't crash, he's a $1m wealthier. You saw his vulnerability while he walked back to the pits.

Do many of you love bashing folks who will most likely not defend themselves on a forum? Love the drama? Try to bring folks down? Nothing on that show from any of those athletes warranted a thread.

Now I'm fucking pumped for 2017. There's going to be bar banging in arguably one of the deepest classes in the history of the sport. From 1987 to 2010, this sport litterally had two riders who would win with usually one doing most of the winning.

And you fucking key board warriors want to drag a rider or riders through the mud. Enjoy the fucking show and fuck off!

Roczen creates more drama, but that's ok with me. He's one helluva good sportsman, back a few year's ago he showed his true colors when he ran to check on a down and injured Reed. Actually, KR and RD are both great sportsmen.

Roczen sure does target Dungey quite a bit. Makes you wonder who is in whose head? Kenny's team sure does a great job of coddling him and telling him how great he is, that's for sure.

I saw a Roczen interview once, I think it was either just before or just after he went Stateside saying
" I don't want to be known as a great rider, I want to be the greatest rider!" ( I think that is close, if my my memory serves)

Always been a big fan of Kenny...but lately? Not so much. Can't stand listening to arrogant people. Humility goes a long way with me. Kenny seems to lack a lot of it. I think I'll start rooting against him honestly. Bunch of of dudes out there I'd rather cheer for more.

I can't quite believe how butt hurt and sensitive some of you moto fans are.

Coming into this new era, this sport desperately needs character, icons and narrative.

In terms of that preview, by ignoring the whole Outdoor series I think they did a disservice to Dungey and Roczen's rivalry and kept potential new fans in the dark. What Kenny did to Dungey Outdoors before Ryan's injury was massive, he totally outclassed RD and Dungey's injury wasn't even mentioned. Both are factors coming into 2017 SX.
