Most legit video I've seen of an e-MX bike. If you watch with out sound, you wouldn't even think it's electric.

The 2 vs 4 stroke debate is gonna be funny when these bikes hit prime time.

With the new battery update, the tesla will have the fastest acceleration of any car in production.

Electric bikes can average 120mph around the Isle of man, that was foggys Superbike lap record 20 years ago.

My buddy and I were saying the same thing about how the bike looks, with no sound it looks like any motocross vid you'd see.

How much are these things weighing in at?

Is Club Moto really that dead on the weekends? I've only ridden there during the week and it is much more busy than it looks in this video.

As for the video... I watch most videos without sound while I'm at work, and I would have never known that was an e-bike. Personally I am excited about the idea of electric moto bikes, even if just for personal use. I would be able to get much more seat time if I was able to roll my bike out into the yard and turn some laps without having to worry about anything besides keeping the dust down.

No, I'm assuming he had a quick solo session to get video or it was really late in the day after they closed. I was there yesterday (thanks to that damn raining yellow guy talking me into riding sunday instead of Saturday) and it was pretty packed, and hot!

True. It looks impressive for an e-bike, but the prices for pretty much all electric vehicles right now are pretty ridiculous, but it's mostly due to lack of competition. Once other manufacturers get more involved the prices should come down a bit...I hope. Just has happened like in other industries, electric power should also open up the market for other (and more) manufacturers. It's an exciting time!

No kidding! 4 stroke guys are gonna be like, "Those things are heavy and handle like pigs! And they have an unfair HP advantage!"

When these things take over, we can go to a Supercross in a domed stadium and leave without hearing loss! If I have to wear earplugs its like I'm sitting there by myself as any kind of conversation is useless.

Guys are starting to take the zero motor and put it on racing karts with pretty good results. The electric thing is not just a novelty any longer, its coming and I think it will benefit all power sports as a whole.

Don't be surprised if you see that bike race at a pro event really soon.

It won't be at an ama/fim sanctioned event.

Not until Honda has one on the sale floor anyhow.

The motors are already there power and torque wise and the advancements in battery tech have been made but aren't at a production level yet.

Based on the technology invented, but not yet available. You could have more power and less weight with hardly any moving parts to break down compared to a modern MX bike.

I still want to see that bike huck LaRocco's leap though.

No thanks. They tried this in NHRA and after 1 run you're like cool.

Now bring back ground shaking, nitro belching, eye watering, flame throwing, 10,000 HP breath taking away Top Fuelers.

Teslas are cool for a passenger car. Not for a supercar. I want V8, V10, and V12 noise.

Ive never bought an electric RC rig either. I need sound.

I think Barbie Jeeps need a CR50 engine.

I saw a vid of him riding at Marysville straight rhythm... and then Club Moto.. He's doing the rounds in nor cal..
Idk if he'll see this, and i don't have an instagram, but on his way back down south, he should stop by my track at KCRP Mx (open tues/thurs 3pm/8pm and sat 9am/2pm, located near Bakersfield) and do some laps... and let me spin a lap or two on that thing!
It would be sooo weird to do hot laps on that thing, and be able to hear myself breath!

Personally, I agree. But, for the most part, we wont be the target market. Perhaps we are a target for novelty sales but by the time these are really ready, newer generations that were born with an iphone in their hand would be more suited to accept it.

Seems like the last few years of his riding he'd just always be the guy who'd boot everything, but the whole time looked like it was easy.

His last year with RCH was crazy, he was so fast at times but just couldn't put it together, such a talent!

So we went from 2 stroke to 4 stroke. It's about to go to no strokeWoohoo

I think these bikes are the future. With no noise back yard riding will be a whole new thing.

Problem is for racing.

Watching a race in a stadium without sound is going to suck. Taking the noise out of it for racing will suck.

The tracks may need to add sound systems to pump fake two stroke noises in and burn barrel with some 2 stroke mix in it.

Are Honda or any of the other major companies working on these? It seems like KTM had something going?

If not they are asleep at the switch...
