I've been in the train for stank dog I cheared for him at the nationals but it's just pointless now. Wow you got 19th and earned a point. That's cool now how about you actually use your potential and get some real results. It's one thing if he was getting factory support.

The phrase is "on the train" not in but it sounds like you weren't actually on it anyways.

Sorry I typed a in instead of on. As for being ON the train I was and still am but it's annoying to look for him to be coming around but oh his bike broke again.

I've watched all the videos and he states a few times his days were ended because of "water in the carb". That could be a cover for another problem, but if it's true what are hey doing to get that much water in the carb more than one time? I mean for $19 you can get an airbox cover and stop blasting the intake and carb. I'm not much of a mechanic but can't repeated water in the carb have an effect on top and bottom ends, if the bike is sucking water through the intake?

Idk just an observation that gets me when I watch the series which is an awesome series by the way.

Was it that wet where he was sucking water through the intake or it was getting around the seal at the carb throat? Just curious since I've been on ktm two strokes for years and haven't experienced that yet and trying to figure out its a design flaw or maybe they could do something to prevent it. You would think if the water from a wet track was wreaking that much havoc on those bikes they wouldn't be the only victims? Surely vital would have people who are experiencing similar problems.

Sorry for sounding rude as my original comment probably did. I hear you that it sucks when he isn't out there because of a mechanical but it isn't a two stroke thing. Highly modified 250fs crap the bed too, especially when their service intervals are extended.

This really shouldn't be a four stroke vs two stroke thread but I read a few comments that way which is what irritated me and inspired my rude post. I think it'd be fantastic if all of this opened the officials eyes and got the asinine two vs four stroke displacement rules changed. Unfortunately, I think at this point it will never happen because it's more about ego now.

It's cool the whole 2 vs 4 thing is pointless now unless you can run the same cc.

I think today's tracks that are that are ripped really deep are much harder to small two-stroke motors than tracks back in the real 125 class days.

Sad that a guy with more eyes on him than 10-40th put together doesn't get more help.
Husky or KTM can write all this shit off and costs so little for the exposure.

Im a bit let down at the bigwigs. I hope Stank keeps doing whats hes doing. The fans love it.

They race snowmobiles on open water sink and repeat.

Water is bullshit. Sorry but a totally submerged ride is up and running fine in 15-20 minutes.

That said, pressure washing is about the same and probably worse if you dont dry all electrical good.

The first time he crashed off the track in a water hole. Not sure if it sucked water through the intake or carb vent lines. I'm not sure about the 2nd time, could've been some residual water from the week before.
I've had water problems from bad gas, but I've never sucked up water racing moto and woods.

I'm sorry but have you ever dealt with water? It's a total pain in the ass, and makes the bike unracable

The dude has found his niche. If he scored 20 points on a 250F no one would even notice. You don't understand the game he is playing.

I have but I was being a bit facetious. What I was trying to say was it sucks for stank dog with the water in the carb, but a wet track shouldn't affect a 125 let alone a husky 125 any different than all the other bikes on the track.

I raced muddy swampy quagmire races for years crossing creeks knee deep.
A few sputters here and there. Mud and water is nothing new.

What a pile. OEM parts or not, it shouldn't be blowing up every other week. Someone get Stank another Yamaha

I'm pretty sure he has more fans and people watching him then several top 10 guys. I think making as many motos as he did against bikes that have doube the displacement is pretty damn impressive. I'd bet they are really disappointed you're annoyed!

Way easier to work on and apparently that's a good thing when you blow one up every week.

Damn those trusty two strokes.

Thats not normal to be having that many crank and tranny issues. I know he rides the crap out of it but thats not right.

Why so much hate? The dude had a blast, got some good footage, a lot of free stuff, and scored a point is what he seemed the objective was.

Factory or Highly Mod 125 engines have about 4 hours of life. Stank Dog rides the piss out of that bike --- if he wants a shot on it, he needs to be under factory Rockstar Husky tent. Husky.... brilliant marketing... no?

you answer the question in your own post: " I have followed him for the last two years"
