Stewy with an adjuster on the bottom of each fork leg? I know jack squat about SFF Air (or any air fork) but I thought all dampening was in 1 leg?

When JS7 was on the Pulpmx show a few weeks back he said that he had switched to spring forks. He said over and over what a difference the spring forks had made so I would say that he would not have switched back to air chamber forks. If he did I would be surprised.
Thanks for that.. I hadn't heard... Yet the OEM's are still selling Air Kool-Aid to the average rider..

May struggle with set-up, not enough time for testing.

I predict wreckers or checkers.

Just another guy to add in the mix.

Mitchell Harrison is another guy to watch. I was out riding at Hangtown a couple weeks back and he was flat out flying. He stayed in front of Plessinger almost the entire second practice today.
I'm glad someone else actually took note of Mitchell. I'm a little biased, so thus the reason I haven't said anything. Thanks for the heads up Ice, I wondered how he looked to others!

What happened to all the experts on here who said he would never race that Suzuki again?
I was thinking of one in particular.

If he doesn't pull out by round 4-5 I see him in the top 4-7 every weekend. I don't see him hangin with tomac, dungey k roc or even Canard. Sad to say

I'm just glad he's out there trying. Hoping for a top 10, but at this point I would be happy if he can just finish both motos.

Can't believe I'm typing that last sentence talking about Bubba, but it is what it is.

Good luck James.

I'm not sure he was ever trying to start his own team... I think that was just some insider bs because they had no idea Wtf he was doing

Yep lots of self appointed insiders who are mysteriously missing from this thread. Nothing more than dorks behind a screen trying to be relevant.
Hope James just finishes decent and improves week to week. We all know what the guy is capable of on any day, but I want to see him last the series. I would not bet on it though, but I love watching the guy when he is on it, there's no one like him.

So late in the thread unlikely this will get seen, but want to say it, in response to both parties. Those that think he wont finish a moto, and those that will dominate.

I get nostalgic late in riders careers and pull for them to finish their careers strong. I am a fan of the sport, from a riding standpoint I don't like one more than the other typically I root for great racing and gnarly stuff that reminds me Im a mortal on a bike. In regard to Stewart I want to see him rebound (which doesn't necessarily mean he gets back to prior glory), Ive said it before, I didn't really root for him but never rooted against him. I love great riding whether its in first or last I want to see them amaze me. I don't think its realistic that he wins tomorrow or even competes for a podium, I just don't think "race pace" will be something he has considering his absence. What I would consider a success for him; get a decent start get comfortable riding in tight spaces (with others around) some could argue not a strong point for him as most of his life he hasn't had too, settle into a non "FMOTP" pace and gain some ground throughout the moto maybe a 15th-10th place finish, complete both motos and move onto next week.

Problem is that's not really in his nature. His whole life hes been a winner on the bike. Can he ride his way back to a contender and complete a season? I sure would like to see it, but again, not in his DNA and being honest time is not on his side. If he wants to reestablish any portion of his legacy he needs to find a way to start competing sooner than later. But going out in round 1 and trying to podium, little lone win has way more risk than reward for him IMO and may take him our of competition much sooner than a 10th. All that said if you go out ride a comfortable pace and let the race to come to you and a podium or win presents itself great!

I am certainly not rooting or hoping that he doesn't finish, and truly believe he can finish not only a moto, but multiple motos and even the season given the right expectations on his part, and willingness to sacrifice some race/moto wins podiums for the greater good.

You know...I was thinking the same thing. I can't believe I'm wondering if James Freaking Bubba Stewart will break into the top-10 of a professional motocross race...or finish the series at all. That's really jacked up. I'm almost disappointed in myself.

I'm still a huge fan of the guy, but I just hope he can show that he still has some "Bubba" left in him. It would be the coolest thing ever if he'd give Dungey & Roczen a run for their money!

I wouldn't be surprised if he holeshots a race tomorrow. But I don't see him making it out of lap 1 with the lead.

Just score points. We can work with speed.

Look how soft the bike looks followed by one kick that nearly buckled him. Not sure if he has no clue how to set a bike up or they just can't get it right. That track was just chewed up from press day,

I'm not saying James will do well, but just for fun, what would the industry do if he went 1-1?

Oh come on haters. Again, I said didn't say he'd do that. I'm just enjoy the thought. I truly just hope he can stay healthy, but for fun, like if you won the lotto, it's fun thought.

Whatever happens, Stew's still one of the baddest dudes in the history of the sport.

I guess they are making him finish up his contract. I would expect the same thing if I was his sponsor, no matter how much he cried about it. I hope he turns it around but don't you guys think if he was going to put in some good result it would have been in SX? Conditioning isn't as big of a factor in the stadiums.
