I remember the Northeast rider Ryan Mills with the number 167. I always wondered if he had a 167 big bore in his 2000 CR 125.

What if he does so good, he never goes back to the 250s?

This is so cool. I would like these fill in rides to go to young unproven guys more often. Nothing against the Grants and Weys of the world, but they've had their runs.... take a gamble on a young dude. Audette and Bloss getting these rides is so awesome.

Looks like he's got Shorty's wheels on that thing. Holeshot!

He did really good for riding a roached out track. Looks like it should be better for the mains.

T'was not an easy night.

Every damn time he had something good going on...he'd have a bobble...

Well, shit happens.

I hope that the people in-charge saw what I was seeing: a young rider that was finally figuring the bike out and...a guy that's in need of...

One more night!

He had the speed just a few bobbles. Easier to fix mistakes than to try and find speed.

was so pumped to see this!! always hoped i could put this story on vital:

like 2-3 years ago at the Millville regional me and Benny were both in 250 C. I lined up near the inside and was already set in my gate when he came up and took the gate next to mine. dude straight up lined up with his left grip sitting on top of my right hand. for the most part he leaned away from me but as soon as the board went up we were basically arm locked. Benny was about a foot and a hundred pounds larger than me, so once the gate dropped i squirrelled out and he was gone. I think he did pretty well and I didn't even make it to the 2nd moto. can't remember if it was the same year or the next but I also watched him tear up his knee from a lapper cutting him off at the bottom of mt. millville.

never actually met or spoken to him but definitely cool to see a kid I raced against doing well.

He definitely has the speed and skill.....just needs the experience. I was watching some of his technique during the qualifiers and he looked solid....just a few mistakes here and there. Kids got a future in this sport. But dang he looks big on those bikes!

I know Bloss went LL's on mini bikes. Having that said, if a rider has ever qualified for LlL' in the past, regardless of class(even the PW50 's) then they cant ride C class on big bikes, ever. This is a LL rule that applies to all LL qualifiers and the main race itself.

I was talking to Brayton when the mechanic tells me that Bloss is from Kansas City (me too). So I chat him up for a minute and decide he's the guy I'm rooting for today. He looked good in his heat, really strong in his semi and then the wheels came off in the LCQ. That's as close as a KC gets to joining a main event in a long long time.

He NEVER rode the C class, it was a great story though, thanks for sharing. They are class act people. Here is some dumb info you can die with not ever knowing, he has a arm he can not hold straight, ( right I believe) from a racing incident . one tough young man.
