Tommy Weeck rode his 125 last weekend in the northwest pro series at horn Rapids wa.

It was very impressive to watch in person. Here is the go pro

That looks sped up, he is railing but even a pro 450 helmetcam doesnt cover ground that fast.

No idea if it was or not, I didn't make the video. ( I noticed it also, could be YouTube upload , I don't know)

I know years ago it would be hard to get the sound to match, could be different no adays.

Any way he was hauling on that thing last weekend. Almost beating some of the fastest northwest guys on a 125.

I don't think it's sped up. I know sometimes with a high gopro frame rate it will look sped up, but won't be.

I have had the privilege to be able to have Tommy help me out this year . It has greatly improved my riding . He hauls ass though

That's totally sped up, if it isn't I'll eat my shoe...
In the first turn the guy on the outside bounces around too quick and when he dabs his foot he moves way too fast. Smells fishy, it must be fish.

The kid riding is plenty fast, but the video is sped up. It is a piece of cake to increase the speed a few % in iMovie and any of the other editors. Clip by clip or the entire edit.

Listening to it through my home theater, doesn't sound sped up. Listen to the announcer, his voice doesn't sound sped up at all. Neither do the engines for that matter.

The first moto video from Tommy's helmet-cam looks sped up, but when you watch moto 2 the effect doesn't look as bad. I think it's just a weird side-effect of the wide-angle lens and the frame rates, or the video encoding.

I've personally spent enough time racing on that track (Horn Rapids) on a real 125cc to know that's a realistic lap time for a guy of his caliber.

Compare the lap times... First lap in that 450 moto is within a second of the 125 vid.

Maybe its the frame rate but something is off with the video. Not saying weeck isnt fast as he is extremely talented and hauls but something is wrong with the video.

If it isn't obvious to some of you already, you can tell that it's sped up by how quickly he falls down after jumps. Gravity doesn't work that way.

Looks normal. Looks more like a render issue. Recorded at a certain frame rate but exported with a different frame rate causing it to skip a few frames.
