If 4 strokes are so great why do they need twice the displacement to compete?

Apparently they make people with limited skills fast and people with a lot of skills really really fast. 2T, you actually have to know what you're doing to go fast.

Is this a common core math question? Aren't you on spring break? Smile

They don't check the lap times for the average person comparing a 250 smoker to a 250F

Call me fu^@ing crazy, but I bet Mike's outdoor results would be similar whether he was on a race built 250 smoker or a 450. Speed is speed.

You think if Fonseca was on a 450 for the 2005 outdoor races he would have been winning motos? No. He would have finished right where he did on his CR250.

While a four stroke may be easier to ride fast, that doesn't mean the two stroke can not also be ridden as fast. It's. The. Bleeping. Rider.

I'll also add this...quad threads....
I post my old race quad in all of them, a couple other vital members do as well.....the 2T vs 4T things is silly, everyone just needs to be pumped on OHV shit. Besides, I know a lot of woods riders that would embarrass 98% of vital members on an MX track...so what.

Ride what you like, support your hobby, bring others in when you can. That's it.

..and also ride a 2 stroke for street cred

Have equal displacement in Pro racing and "let the chips fall where they may"................... wait they already did that up in Canada......anyone know the results of that the last two years for the Canuck Nationals?

And what their plan is this year?

No doubt they will enforce some more 2 stroke strangulation rules.
