Disclaimer: I do not now, nor have I ever personally known Cole Thompson or "his chick".
I just wanted to give a quick tech tip on using the internets after listening to the Pulp Show where they put Cole Thompson's GF on blast for allegedly sending an email to Donk's future employer posing as Donk's previous employer.
They did say later on that they aren't necessarily accusing "his chick", it just seems awfully fishy that when they Google the impostors email address, Cole's gf's Instagram account pops up.
... It's not that fishy. Her profile has the words "slatonracing", and her personal email address is "####@hotmail.com".
Maybe she did do it, maybe she didn't. But the fact that her Instagram account pops up in that Google search is 100% unrelated to that email address.

- Donk ended up getting taken advantage of eg. doing a lot more than he signed up for (as he was living with Kenny Bell and would be helping VG on the east)
- Donk wasn't getting paid - Told the team to kick rocks, it wasn't what he signed up for, and they weren't paying him what had been agreed
- An email gets sent to the team he is going to work for in Canada this summer from "slatonracing@hotmail.com" degrading Donk's character
- A back and forth ensues - but essentially it's a made up email address by a clearly disgruntled someone who is close to the situation
- They mentioned that they did a Google search of that email address, and Cole's chick popped up - so they round about said it was her that made the fake account
All they need to do is just look at see what the originating ip is in the mail headers (granted they didnt use anything to try to mask it ,like a vpn or proxy).It would take 30 seconds.
Most peoples home ip's don't change much even though they are dynamic.
Some people have static ip's that never change.
It wouldn't be hard to find out what their current ip is with a little bit of social engineering and then see if it matches to ip in the email headers.

This whole thread blows, except for the snowboard pics.
I have learned that the google search may be a very large coincidence and there are weird ways google works to perhaps link that up.
I've tried to trace the IP but since I only have a forwarded version of the email I am coming up unsuccessful, I am going to see if the original email can be traced.
I would really like to just get to the bottom of this. I don't like the fact that the search came up with the results it did because its making life long friends of mine look very bad.
I will say this, the Slaton Racing Team has been nothing but professional through out the entire deal, they have since came through on the owed monies, and have stood behind me in this situation as well as stood behind their rider, rightfully so.
Does anyone know how to trace a forwarded email IP?

Hes been on various Matthes podcasts for years.
Post the sending information from the email, and try to get the original from the Canadian team. Post that on here and someone will find the information you seek.....

So I did a google search on Donk, this is what came up. Guess he is just another person like the rest of us and puts on his socks on just like we do.
Native American... I never once saw any Indians looking like that in any John Wayne Movie...
Donk ran his mouth without having facts. Bookchloeflake@hotmail.com is in my Instagram bio and I had @slatonracing tagged in a post. Google put those two things together but they are completely separate in the search. Many people have told him that. It obviously went in one ear and out the other because he still went on to say it on the show. Google search does not connect me to that email address. If you know how the internet works you know this is the truth. He needed someone to blame and it was a random and bad coincidence. Check out the screen shots. If you google anything I tag with @hotmail.com my Instagram profile pops up. I hope next time he'll keep his mouth shut until he finds out actual facts and not a jumbled up Google search.
