RR17 never raced on a professional level, atleast not supercross or motocross....I know Jeff Gibson did for a while, but the bike was a hunk of shit and never stayed together. I know a few dudes who had them break on the face of jumps and damn near killl them. Glad they survived!
are you saying reynard never raced a CANNONDALE on a professional level, or that he has never actually raced sx and mx as a pro?

RR Never actually raced sx and mx as a pro. True story. Being from Oklahoma and all I thought you'd be aware of this.

As anyone got a picture of the RM250 with a CR500 engine slotted inside. I think Ross Pederson rode one at the Nationals in the early 90's. He ground off the Honda name from the engine cases. Handled like a dog apperently.

I'm sure he's saying RR never rode Cannondale as a pro! Cause he raced for Team Kawasaki, primal Impulse Honda and Team Suzuki. If he'd stayed healthy, who knows? Cause he was as fast or faster than anyone on the track at any given time........just could NOT stay healthy!!

really? what planet were you on in the mid eighties. Long story short, Yamaha prototype that was used in a movie. From what I heard, MGM ended up sharing the patents as result of a long legal battle. MGM come up with the front fender(which was really just a seat pan off a Bultaco spray painted black) but Yamaha found out it really helped with aerodynamics and the bike was shit without it...

Glad to see this thread revived. How about something a little more modern? I don't know how well this Aprilia worked, but I think it looks cool as crap.

I was waiting for these, but Benelli was sold to the Chinese, and that was the end of that.

It was a "one off" fantasy bike based on a KX80. I'm told it still exists.
