If you want to use the prison analogy, the Alessi's would be the habitual repeat offender that revolves in and out of jail and never learn.

Thier behavior epitomizes the mentality of motocross people who will do anything to get an unfair advantage. That shit is only tolerated in small time MX.

Some support it. I don't.

He hasn't done just one thing, he has done quite a few.

Wait, you really want someone to make a timeline of every dumbshit thing the Alessis have done? That would be a book. I'm having a hard time figuring out if you are trying to defend them or bury them. lol.

I don't think he was ever excused...but a lifetime ban, No Way.

Compound that with the rest of the highly questionable moves pulled by that family. The sport would be better off.
Move on... at 23 most places won't even let you rent a car...

If he would have suffered retinal damage the punishment would have been harsher.
Jeff did a bone head thing and paid a price for it.

Now comes the time to move forward and trust nothing happens again. Just enjoy the show and watch what you like and just pass on what you don't.

Let er rip Jeff.

Let it go, guys. Let. It. Go. You'll feel so much better when you let the past go. Jeff gets a ride and a few of you have to piss on the news. Just say congrats or say nothing. It's not hard...and you'll feel yourselves growing up right along with Jeff. Congratulations, Jeff! I'm sure most of would like to hear from you how this ride came about. Details, Jeff! Details!

I don't think I'd heard anyone on this forum support the Lasergate incident. DC handled it. Period. It was not some industrial high power metal cutting laser, it was a low powered small nicad office pointer. Ever mess with one? Similar to what you put on a handgun. There are laws limiting the power of consumer lasers. You'd have to be right on top of it to get an eye injury. Let's agree to let this one go, mtl. So let's try and congratulate Jeff for working hard and getting himself together. He's back racing. As a motorcycle rider and racer, and a fan of Pro MX & SX, it's a great comeback. I look for him & Mike every race. I'm not carrying their water, just a fan of good racing. Good luck Jeff, I hope you and the team do well.

That's awesome.Saw both of them at Riverglade last yr.Jeff was quite a bit slower but with another year under him looks to be picking it up.Good for him,I look forward to seeing what he can do with some separation.
As for the rest,I'm pretty damn happy nobody had a camera on me at that age-and I expect most here could say the same. Smile

They are just jealous because even at their prime, they would never even have qualified for the night show if they had ever showed up to a SX event with their bike.

Congratulations Jeff! I hope this allows you to take your riding to the next level. Please post up the history behind this change for you. Fans of the sport want to know.

You dumb sh*t. That wasn't Alessi for one, and another it wasn't an advantage to get pushed off the track and lose many positions if it was. The morons on this forum kill me.

I thought this nut job Mtl was just trolling but it looks like he is serious!

I guess he thinks anyone who exceeds the speed limit in their car should be fired from their jobs and banned for life. After all speeding is every bit as dangerous as playing with a lazer pen that did absolutely NOTHING to anyone except the kid that was playing with it.

Best of luck to the Alessi boys

I certainly do not agree with most of the actions of the Alessi's, however I will always congratulate a rider for earning a new ride. Keep working hard Jeff, eventually you will learn not to stoop to these clown's level.
