I will so switch back to Honda if they bring back the 93 steel frame with the engine and frame painted red. Anything less? Meh.

Hydraulic 2WD, AND, Hydraulic 2 wheel steering.

The 2 wheel steering - something that never seems to work that well, no matter which engineer / engineering group try it. And some very big companies have tried it - the most recent, I think, being Yamaha - well at least the 2WD - on an R1 - well after the marketed WR450.

I think both ADB and AMCN tested the 2x2x2, and the 2 wheel steering was the thing that made it a bit of a "step too far".

It, or a variation of it, would probably make a great AG bike, especially in mountain / high country terrain

Nonetheless, Drysdale is one of the pre-eminent motorcycle engineers of the last few decades - he / his company do quite a few projects, for quite a few very big companies. Clever, clever man.

The 2x2x2 was one of his personal side projects, quite a long time ago - that's an Air Cooled Maico 250 engine in the cradle. Only a couple of years ago, the bike appeared for sale on E Bay / something like it, whilst Drysdale was posting on a couple of sites. I asked him if he was inclined to buy it back , for his own collection. Can't recall his answer, if any.

Where or who did you hear that from....a credibal source...yes?
well, Im not an insider or ex pro, but live and ride in so cal every weekend. You hear a lot of things. Yes, my source is fairly reliable. Its no secret the bike had been mia either. I have a real source too, and by that I mean 100%, but he wont say much. He does say it will be amazing, new concepts. It will be the fastest production 450 hand down.
Last I talked to him the bike was still a go for 2017, but that was a couple months ago.

Well that does sound awesome..be cool if were true. Don't get me wrong.. my 14 is damn potent.. but it took over $1,500 to get it there..Now...powerwise, it a rocketship.but the new 17 still intrigues me.

mia? do you see the 2017 Suzuki anywhere at the moment, and that bike is also said to be a game changer....just because there is a new incarnation of a bike doesn't mean it HAS to be in the public eye

anyway back to the Honda ....from what I heard (I am a ex-pro), the bike is still very much on track....whether or not it is a game changer we shall see...I am not holding my breath

I think the rumor about the single cam Suzuki (2016 model) started about a year ago.
Randy Savage from Gainesville heard it firstTongue Wink
