I keep waiting for Cooper to go full Ricky Bobby in his post race interview and say that he pisses excellence and he's the best there is and so on and so forth. Does anyone else get the feeling that he could do that at any time? Don't take this like a Webb bashing. I like the dude he's fun to watch.

I say it all the time. Webb is the next RC.

He is all heart and fire and hates to lose. He is very hard on himself when he does not win. More than anyone on the track today, both classes. He tends to wear his emotions on his sleeve and when not careful they fall out of his mouth uncensored. I don't think he is conceited or unrealistically big on himself. He just knows what he can do and when he screws it up it bothers him. A true champ through and through. This kid is the future of SX/MX .

How many times has it been said of the 250 class that "he's" the next big star? The premier class is a whole different beast. It's been proven over and over again. We will see.

I'm not predicting anything specific, but a difference we already know with Cooper is that he is very fast and comfortable on a 450.

Honestly just think it would be funny. Of course its not going to happen haha. But damn if he got up there and said if you don't chew big red then fuck you. That would be epic ha. In all honesty I agree with the guy that said that Cooper is like RC in a lot of ways. It will be interesting to see what he does in the 450 class.

RC had a perfect regional SX season, two regional SX championships, three 125 outdoor titles, was racing 250(450) SX and was three weeks away from winning Daytona over MC at this stage in his career. I get the comparison you're trying to make, I understand. But I'm waiting for someone to almost win SX, then win 10 races and the title in their first full season to even START making that comparison.

im waiting for Webb ... to see him race that 450 , he showed awesome speed and looked very good at Glen Helen and MXON .... he suprised me on that bigger bike , and looking forward seeing him in 450 ... no need to compare him with anybody ...

X2 the kid has already showed very impressive speed on a 450! He will do great on a 450 after going undefeated his last year on 250's and coming in to 17' with mountains of confidence. Top 3 in points his rookie year isnt too far fetched imo.

Outdoors no he's not even close to the doninance Ricky showed early.

But supercross he's right on target

Oh and I wouldn't discount him winning a 450 main this year just yet

Have high hopes for him stepping up next year, BUT, he needs to work on those starts if we wants to be top dog in 450SX. Definitely seems to have the pace, aggression, skill and winning attitude, absolute no doubt there, but if he is getting average starts like he has been in 250sx, hes going to struggle winning with the big boys.

I thought so before A1 as well.
Now that I see how far back Marvin is (he was incredibly good last year in 250 SX), I don't think Webb could win this year. Next year when he moves up full time - different story.

I could see him pulling off a win on the 450 this year. I know K-dub did it & I think Bradshaw did also? Love how he speaks his mind! I hope AC can get back too the level Coop is at right now. Both of them our the future for sure.

He won't get the chance to be, the field is MUCH more stacked than when RC was dominating the big boy class, different circumstances.

Yup I have said it before and will say it again this guy will rock the 450 class in 2017 (or earlier if he does some east coasts 450 rounds as the rumour mill says he will)

Coop is also to watch and him being a Carolina boy makes it that much better. The one area he has to improve on for him to win consistently in the 450s is his starts. He can't afford to start 10th and come through the pack next year week after week IMO

Kid has zero national championships, kinda a stretch to call him the new Rc, a guy that truly pissed excellence and refused to lose....
