Stewart has done a similar thing plenty of times in the past so a bit of karma IMO.
First thing I noticed is how easily he's knocked unconscious these days. I'd be checking that out with my doctor if I was him. Definitely no boxing career after MX, he reminds me of a faded Roy Jones getting knocked out so easy. Hope he's OK for next week though, he wasn't to blame this time and looked in good form and riding sensibly.

I am concerned how James never gets up after going down anymore, the fall at MEC was really nothing, and the overseas fall was the same. I hope they let him race next week if he is willing.
Peick deserved his 2 week DQ, as much fun as it was to watch. He should have at least tried to pick up his bike in between punching Frieses hat (stupid anyways). He should have just shoved Friese to the ground one time really hard, and stood on his bike or him while attempting to get his bike up and started. I wonder what the end result will be when JGR and Fly sit down and analyze if this is who they want representing them.
Canard was fast as hell, Roczen had a rough night but raced strong.
Reed, looked really good all night and I was super happy and very impressed with his results. I hope he just goes up from here.
he's already taken a critical blow to a championship run so just play it smart. if it takes a month, take a month, if it takes several, take several. the weight of concussions and their unseen effects long term are just now coming to the front of consciousness in the sporting world. they're absolutely no joke and we the fans, teams, sponsors and everyone involved need to stop pressuring the athletes to return too soon for the wrong reasons.

I do feel bad for James. I wouldn't throw out the idea that retirement may come sooner than he wanted. Hopefully not though. I love seeing him line up and race.
Someone calling me an idiot coming soon...
It was simply the culmination of two scenarios happening together at the same time, would've went different for Stew if Dunge wasn't there and vice versa but that's just not the way the cookie crumbled. I'd rather see more speculation and reasons as to how long it'll take Stewart to come back if at all and what other potential injuries he could've sustained judging by the crash, much more concerning to me and I'm sure others than this pointless bickering.
