Not surprised. RV loves motocross. Its the intensity of racing at the professional level -- injury comebacks, injuries, media obligations, and training. What is average career for most elite athletes? 10-12 years.

I would not be surprised if RV invests in a pro team or races LL in about five years.

I am HUGE fan. Stay on the gas RV2

Ya know, if we're lucky as fans, RV2 could run out of FTG and come out firing on all cylinders. Sort of like DV12 but with less French. Or if we're unlucky, he'll go all Larry Ward on us. I feel like it could go either way, but this is a great teaser that might say DV-French style. I like it a lot...

If you watch the USGP, Malin asked him what his plans are and he said he plans to stay involved in the sport in some way, but he isn't in a hurry to decide where or in what capacity... I am paraphrasing there, but he said it in very plain English on the broadcast.
