Drakep2 Started a new thread Whats the big differences between the yz250's?
3/13/2019 5:19am So I'm looking for a 2006 and up yz250 to get into the two-stroke game. I need some help though because I'm not really familiar with the major differences between the newer and older models. Are there any major differences? Is it basically the same bike just different plastics? Any help is appreciated

It's an 03 xr100r, brand new tires, seat cover, and hand guards. I keep very good care of my bikes. I think the graphics are scaring people off. I let some local graphics company do it for me. The bike was only meant for around the yard so I wasn't particular with the graphics and let them do whatever...

I usually use Craigslist and some Facebook groups and I am very thorough and honest with my descriptions. All 4 of my bikes have been in really good condition and I listed them as what I thought I would pay...

6/11/2016 7:52pm It all depends on whether or not I can sell my bike. I've been saving up for a yz250 for a while by fixing up old bikes for people and selling them, So if my bike gets sold I will definitely hit you up! It would be perfect because people around here think that their stuff is gold and post...

6/11/2016 7:42am Thank you! I found your whole post full of useful information. As soon as I get the bike I will replace that "Stopper", I have heard way too much about it to leave it alone. Also, are there any modifications or precautions that can be taken in order to prevent a shift fork failure? I also change my filter and...

6/10/2016 8:32am Ok, so I knew i was gonna take my bike build in the updated plastics direction with the ufo restyle, but can someone give me some more info on the tranny problems, and the fix? A link to a thread or something? Is it a pricey problem? i will probably only have a grand extra to spend on it... maybe...

6/10/2016 7:58am Thank you all, I knew that i wanted a 2006 and up just for the suspension. I also know that the really newer models are out of reach for a high school student. I will probably go with the cheapest, best looking i can find and spend my remaining budget on fixing stuff that people neglect
