Cant wait for SX 2016....its really gonna be stacked with experienced older guys and the fast new kids. They call it every year but I reckon 2016 is the one we been waiting for.

He made his money and will do the smart thing... just a prediction...
We can bitch, benchrace and couch munch all we want but nothing going to be cast in stone until its over. Dunge at the moment is the favourate as he gets the damn hob done and keeps it on two wheels but Im sticking with James. He had a year to sit out and think shit over. He is going to be a lot smarter come 16.
I don't imagine anybody knows James Stewart's history better than James Stewart.
He's watched RD stomp every comer simply by being consistst, and only going balls out when he has to or when he can without the risk of crashing. I believe we'll see a faster JS7 by virtue of him having this time out to get 100% healthy & rested...and him figuring things out to where history won't repeat itself. Tomac will be fast, but be on a new bike & team...RD will be RD, and perhaps not as hungry as last season. Stewart will be out to prove something.
I can't wait for 2016 SX season!
*forgets he's sat out for long periods of time multiple times and it's changed nothing*
Pit Row
He played a lot of golf
And that's not speculation
he could win
he could crash
he could dominate
he could win a few
he could be consistent and willing to take a 2nd or 3rd
I would speculate he would have a season much like Reed the past few years. Some flashes of speed some nights, then off nights and maybe cap it off with a crash. If he comes out guns blazing A1 and willing to win at all costs I think he will end up in a wheel chair before the end of the season.
That said, he should be determined and focused. He needs to play Dungey's game of consistency. Before this past year I would say if someone can match Dungey's consistency but just hang it out a bit here and there to get a win or position better a couple times they would edge out Dungey. Especially since he wasn't willing to hang it out. But Dungey of today is much stronger and more aggressive. He is able to dial it up at any point without going out of control.
side note. I think (partly due to age and time in the pro ranks) he is nearing the end of being a title contender. if you look at guys like Kdub, Reed, The Rock etc, their last title competitive years came before 30yrs old/ 10years in the 450 class.
Maybe it's a good thing he has stayed under the radar and there is no hype built up about him coming back. I'll just be glad he's back, the sport is better with him.
He will either love what he has been missing or remember how much he didn't love it. I assume results will play a big part in which mindset he ends up with.
Nobody is faster than him when he does not crash. But maybe it's that last notch of speed he bumps up to in order to beat everyone that causes some of those crashes.
I hope he comes in this year and lets the first several races come to him instead of trying to murder them and drag them home.
