And i just got a 38mm carb from a member here.
My cone valve forks are sitting on my dining room table and will be going on this week, bill's pipe is in the mail (the bike came with a PC 304 shorty silencer), and I am working on the jetting.
I see you are in GA, same climate as me here in East Texas. Where were you at with the 36mm carb?
The guy I bought mine from had a 38 pilot, NECJ needle on the 3rd clip, 160 main. The bike ran clean and strong but would not rev out, signed off real early. I went to a 40 pilot, left the needle on the 3rd clip, and went up to a 170, then a 175 main. Pulls way waaay farther but loads up quick plus getting some spooge now. Going back to the 170 main for sure, maybe leaner when it's all said and done. Running castor 927 mixed at 44:1 with pump gas. Just curious where you were at, I def need to be leaner that what most on here suggest with these hot humid days we have
