threefiddyone Added a reply to Front Vented Number Plate
8/1/2023 7:27am Did you cut the plate and then put the graphics on? If so, how? Do you think that the heated knife would mess up the graphics if you cut it with the graphics already on the plastic? I want to do this but my graphics are already on my plastic.

threefiddyone Started a new thread Marzocchi Inverted Fork Question
6/21/2020 5:57pm So this is kind of a shot in the dark, but Im kinda lost on what to do. So when pitbikes were super popular back in 2007 I got some marzocchi inverted forks for my CRF70. You can see them in the attached picture, and Ill take better pictures when I get home. They are leaking and I need to...

threefiddyone Added a reply to Turned fuel off while idling - revs wide open?
8/14/2019 7:19am Thanks man. Do you think it could have damaged the motor from running wide open 10-15 seconds like that? It only has like 20 hours on the top end so I really hope not.

8/14/2019 7:18am When the bike runs very lean ( like running out of fuel) it will rev to the moon and the kill switch will do nothing to stop it. This is also very hard on the topend of the engine and it also reduces the oil it needs to survive. Just remove the fuel line to the carb and drain the tank. And yes, old fuel will clog up the pilot jet very quickly. Remove it and clean or replace. Paw Paw

threefiddyone Started a new thread Turned fuel off while idling - revs wide open?
8/14/2019 6:25am 2004 CR250. The bikes been sitting for about 9 months with the same gas in it. I cranked it today and it ran fine. I wanted to get all the old gas out of it so I turned the fuel off at the petcock while it was idling to try and empty the carb. As expected, it started to idle...

4/2/2017 12:56pm Im installing a barnett clutch basket in my 04 CR250 and the kickstart assembly came out on accident while i had it all taken apart. I figured out how it goes back in but i have a question. Is the kickstart gear supposed to spin freely in both directions when the side cover is taken off like shown in the...

threefiddyone Started a new thread Colored rad. louvers for CRs (finally)
4/6/2016 6:59am For you CR125 and CR250 owners, Polisport has just started making red radiator louvers for our bikes. Been waiting for this for years as I am sick of the nasty old clearish yellow ones. As far as I know, Polisport is the first company to make any rad. louvers for the CRs that vary from stock color. I would love...

threefiddyone Added a reply to Accidentally Got an O-ring chain...Keep or no?
3/29/2016 5:26am Before you commit to it, make sure that its not too wide at the front sprocket. Idk which year model yours is but O-ring chains on some year model CRF450s will hit the case. But they make narrow O-ring/X-ring chains to solve that issue. I pressure wash mine, i just hold the nozzle about 1 foot away from it. If...

2/12/2016 6:28am Ive had mine for a little over a year now. I was one of the first people in the US to buy it, it was $500 then, but apparently the price has dropped since. I have ridden the living crap out of my bike since I got it and I still love it. I have a slightly bent subframe so...

1/19/2016 5:46am For sure. I remember trying to move my leg and only the top half of my femur moved, i instantly knew it was snapped in half.
threefiddyone Added a reply to Femur screw removal
1/15/2016 6:39am BMR179 - Glad you got some relief. Had a rod and 2 screws put in my left femur 2 years ago, now I know what i have to look forward to. Parks65 - I ask my doctor about the removal, and I believe that you have to spend approx. 6 more weeks on crutches, since the bone marrow has to...

1/8/2016 7:56am Looks like I need to invest in a round file then. Ive never used one. I didnt make the holes any bigger I just moved the edge of it out in one direction. Same end result different technique i guess.

1/8/2016 5:26am It was off by about 2mm. After letting the motor sit loose overnight, I came back yesterday and the motor was able to wiggle a little more towards those mounts. I still had to drill out the bottom hole slightly, but after that everything slid in perfectly. Got all the motor mounts torqued and ready to go for the rest...

1/7/2016 7:17am I havent had it since new. It looked like the previous owner had looped it out or something, but im sure I did more damage to it in that crash that I posted above. I dont think the owner had much of any motor work done, i dont even think he ever took it on a track. I completely loosed...
