It could have been a lot of different shit. If you haven't had a bike with an electrical problem you haven't had very many bikes. But it was probably a valve.

I love 2 strokes (4 of them in the garage), but to suggest that DNF's didn't occur with pingers would be wrong. They certainly blew up just like the valve munchers do (albeit cheaper to fix).

Pathetic capitalism? Puhleeze, if it weren't for capitalism we wouldn't have these amazing bikes to ride.

Yeah I had a electrical problem in a race... 1976 kept cutting out... RM125

I always figured the less moving parts the better off I am...
