I got the chills from this picture 'cause I was standing right there in the background audience. Loket didn't disappoint.

Loket looked like an incredible track on TV! Great elevation changes and cool serpentine layout. Looked really demanding too with the loose dirt on hardpack. Kullas is so fast in the sand yet he really struggled there.

By the way.... Do i see this right? 7300 GBP = 11,400 USD for the FC450?????
KTM 450 SXF is 7199 GBP and I do not think anyone will pay 11,207 USD if you compare it with the price of the Factory edition. Various taxes and other things in different countries affects the price. Just translate the currencies will probably be misleading.

The yellow cam cover (or whatever you wanna call it) on the heads is kinda funky, looks out of place IMO.

...and how much of a pain in the ass it is gonna be to put graphics on the sideplate the way they are shaped?

I'm going to be a bit busy this week, that's for sure! I'm on the plane right now to PA, just left Phoenix 20 mins ago. I'm riding tomorrow at High Point then jumping in a taxi at the track to run back to the airport and fly down to DC where the hotel is for the Husky event.
Dont hesitate to shoot shit my way bro, ill be right where i always am, sitting right in front of my computer Blink Laughing

Yea, it looks like it would be "thin" and sleek in the sitting position, but cant really say much for the "looks" of it. Kinda odd how it connects to the sidepate w/ that weird indentation.

Pretty sure over here the KTM FE ran about $10k. However after a quick search on Cycletrader, a lot of the dealers in the US are pricing their 2016 KTM 450's at $9299. They're pricing the 2016 KTM 250f's at $8399 and Dirt Bike magazine (not sure how reliable?) said the 15's retailed at $8099. That's a $300 jump in the KTM's, since Dirt Bike said the 15 KTM 450 retailed at $8999.

Think the Huskies will have a similar price jump? I'm really looking at getting a 16 Husky if I can...

It was an incredible track for sure. The hills were way steeper than it seems on TV. Also the scenery from the top was spectacular. Great place.

And yes, sadly Kullas didn't do well there.. I was rooting for him.

My pop was a die hard Husky guy back in the day. This was the last one he had before my bro and i started really racing more and the family riding trips came to an end.

They were pretty trick, the 390 automatic. i wonder what he paid for it?

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I wrote out the comparison between the USD and GBP, just to make it clear that only translate the currencies will be misleading. It will not cost you 11k.

Seems they are working on a radical new 250 for 2017.
Both bikes don't have the new body style.

Someone flat out asked the engineering team at the KTM dealer demo at the Indiana Ironman track if they are doing something DI/EFI with the 250, and they all did that coy smerk with shoulder shrug.

They said they flat-out ran out of time to release it this year. I wish they'd do a 16.5 "Factory Edition" and put Wilson on it for SX.
wishful thinking....it aint gonna happen (2 strokes in 450 class in SX)

So electric start?

Wonder if they'll make a 300SX straight from the floor for the Euro300MX class?

Really want to see DFI and airfork 300 on this thing.

I would love to get the 350 or 450. I really need to try a 350, i feel like it's hard to push on the 450 with all that power(i have the sxf450 2014). Although i need to hit the gym more in the winter/off season.

At first I thought you were nuts, but you are def right.

Also interesting are the slightly different rotors, swingarm, gas tank, and the fact that KTMs have Excel rims and Nekken bars, while the Huskys have DID rims and Pro Taper bars.
