Got a call yesterday from some guy at his buddy's house telling me he got my name from a local dealer. Funny how that works, look for stuff long enough and eventually it comes looking for you! Anyhow he is describing a down piped RM100 so I knew it was a 76 model, nearly identical to the 75 RM125 that I really want. Pretty sweet bike, sounded like it needed to be a quick sale so I made my way over to inspect after work. Got a spare tank, a set of good 35mm forks and a new Cheng Shin C755. Very cool little bike with a set of Works Performance shocks and a Jemco pipe.

That class has just about jumped the shark! Anything but a $30,000.00 carbon fibered 1983 YZ100 with a recently retired factory team rider on board seems to be at a huge disadvantage. Laughing Lots of trickness and cool stuff out on the track when the gate drops for that class. I haven't followed it too closely to see if they have broken it up into different classes yet.

Hey Newman where do you keep all your restored beauties? I'm picturing a high tech underground bat cave type of set up filled with old works bikes and suits of MX armor ! Lol. From the pictures I've seen, your shop is way to uncluttered and clean ! The lack of dirt, grease, beer cans, and roached parts is unhealthy! Grinning

Sweet find. My parents bought me one brand new as my first race bike. I wasn't a very good rider at the time and thought it was fast....

Haha, I sure like the work you do on those old bikes! Glad someone is saving them from the scrap yard! I'm going to start small wit a 79 Z50 that I just picked up. And I'm on the look out for a 78 YZ 400 for a future project

They need to make a TV show for you "When Hording Go's Bad". This place was a glimmer in your eye the last time I saw it. I can't imagine it in another 5 years. LOVE IT!

Starting to get the place dolled up a little bit since then. Still a work in progress but it will be a lot more comfortable next time you stop in for fajitas. The upstairs area is pretty sweet, just needs some more furnishings.

Great bike newmann, and great collection as well. I'm originally from Nashville Tn. and remember how stacked the 100cc class was during that era, actually, all classes were stacked. Gotta ask, what is a Cheng Shin C755 ? if you don't mind.

I think it's a Metzler knock off that worked better than the Metz in certain conditions
